I feel the show could be a better Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (which was pretty much just a poor man's Star vs the Forces of Evil ), yet the characters and humor really turn me off. Couldn't really enjoy the show go much further than the first 3 episodes or so.

The cartoon doesn't capture my interest due to character problems.

(And I'll be blunt, it's unrelated, but the character designs for some of the characters for the Boom series royally suck!)

I can get passed most new character designs, but Knuckles still bothers me. Though while I may not be a fan of his characterization either, he still has plenty of moments(like when he's using meats as puppets or when he mocks high society while trying to get them to lighten up)
