  1. Since you can apparently copyright anything these days, then I'm going to trademark the planet Earth. Now give me a small payment of a million dollars for living here!1

  2. I'm 14, turning 15 in a couple months. My hobbies are gaming, watching cartoons, reading and writing. I got into the fandom when I was 10, when I first started hearing about the show, and my best friend introduced me to it. Since then, it's been one of my favorite shows of all time.

  4. - I remember this show.. man it was awful.
  5. I like certain flavors of oatmeal, mainly cinnamon kind. "Are you crazy?" Yes I am.

  7. I don't often go to the movie theater, but I'd have to say my favorite one was seeing Inside Out. My dad took me there, and the crowd wasn't too big so it was nice and quiet, plus we also saw the movie in 3D, which made it look really nice. My least favorite would probably be Chicken Little, because that movie sucks
  8. Alright, it's time to review another episode of the best cartoon of all time - Steven Universe!1 whoops i mean MLP xddd Since my last review was pretty negative (well i mean it was the hooffields and the mccolts do you really blame me), how about I make a more positive review today? So, yeah, uh.. The Mane Attraction!1 gedit? the mane attraction?!1 hahahahahahaa.. okay let's move on with this. This review comes from the opinions of the poster himself. This does not reflect the opinions of the rest of the Brony community. Summary: After meeting with her old friend again, Applejack starts to believe Countess Coloratura or Rara is being "used" by her manager. This was actually an episode I was looking forward to when it was first announced. When the preview that had one of this episode's songs, "The Magic Inside," came out, I really liked it, and my interest in this episode grew when I heard that this was Amy Keating Roger's last episode for the show before she went to Disney. This was mainly since she was probably my favorite writer for the show for writing some of my favorite episodes (i.e. Crusaders of the Lost Mark and the Lost Treasure of Griffonstone), so I was looking forward to how her last work would be. And after watching this episode, I wasn't disappointed. First off, I have to say the characters were really great here. Applejack is portrayed at probably her best and is developed really well here. She shows real concern for her old friend, Countess Coloratura/Rara/John Cena and what her manager, Sven Gallop, is trying to do with her, but she still talks to her with respect and as a friend, while still being honest without being over intimidated by all the glits and glamour, and even after the bit of tension between them during the meet with the school ponies, she still manages to go back to her with a good plan. I also have to say I really liked Rara, and she's probably on my Top 10 favorite character of the show as of now. I felt she was really likeable as a character, plus her backstory with Applejack was pretty adorable and she did help represent the whole moral and theme of this episode of what working in the music industry is like really well, essentially "losing herself" to this new career. But when she realizes how Sven Gallop is treating Pinkie Pie, she actually stands up to him and tells him off. Speaking of which though, I can't say I liked Sven Gallop, but that doesn't really surprise me since, after all, he's pretty much meant to be a "dickhead manager" sort of character, therefore was made to be disliked and wasn't meant to be an interesting character, so it doesn't really affect this episode for me. And still, the others' characterization was quite good too. Pinkie Pie was portrayed really well and I like how she tried her hardest to keep Rara for the charity event, despite being abused by Sven Gallop and Rarity sort of served as a foil for Applejack, with her serving as being too accepting of all the quirks, while Applejack actually wonders about Rara's true self. The moral here is really good. It essentially teaches kids to stay true to yourself, and while that's nothing too new, it's execution is really good and Rara's characterization really helps with the plot and demonstrates this moral really well. The songs were also good in this episode too. I don't really know too much about Lena Hall (sorry), but still, she does a good job at both playing Rara's voice and singing. "The Magic Inside" is hands down my new favorite song in the show plus had some feels, both versions of "Equestria, the Land I Love," especially the finale with the Cutie Mark Crusaders and heck, I even found "The Spectacle" pretty catchy. I don't care, I like it!1 The overall tone of this episode is really good and the episode is in general fun to watch. Overall Opinion: The Mane Attraction reminds me of The Simpsons' Lisa Goes Gaga, except it's not contrived as hell and actually has a good moral Jokes aside, this episode is one of the best of the season, and one of my overall favorite episodes of the series plus I'd have to say this is my favorite Applejack episode yet. The moral was great, the characterization was spot on, the songs - catchy, and I really loved the nice tone and "feel good" tone of this episode. And between this, Crusaders of the Lost Mark and The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone, it's really hard to pick my favorite episode from Season 5. So, overall, great episode, and definitely an improvement over the previous 3 IMO. 10/10 My Episode Ranking: 1. Crusaders of the Lost Mark (S5E18) 2. The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone (S5E8) 3. The Mane Attraction (S5E24) 4. Rarity Investigates (S5E15) 5. Amending Fences (S5E12) 6. The Cutie Map (S5E1+2) 7. Make New Friends But Keep Discord (S5E7) 8. Brotherhooves Social (S5E17) 9. 11. My favorite game of all time? 2 on Magnavox Odyssey.

  12. As others have said, it's because after a while, it'll most likely go through seasonal rot and end up like, say, Spongebob, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Thomas and Friends, etc. Even though I'd be pretty sad when it ends, I still feel like it should be cancelled after at least Season 7 unless they somehow manage to come up with fresh ideas for a while afterwards.

  13. Welp, I'm back!1 Maybe. idk. Now, it's been a while since I've reviewed something. My last MLP review was in October with my review of Crusaders of the Lost Mark (wow, Doc and Marty didn't even get to the future at that time) and my last review in general was my Undertale review in December.. which I suppose isn't too bad, but still. I was kind of caught up with my school finals, plus I had a lot of stuff going on in my personal life and i was too busy playing Undertale xd that I started to lack motivation for reviews in general. But after a hiatus from MLP reviews, I decided to review something!1 I know the Hooffields and the McColts is kind of a weird place to start back up again, since it's not the episode after the one I reviewed in my last review, but I decided, instead of going through the episodes in order, I should first look back at the ones I have more to say about and sort of "finalized" my opinions on, and then look back at some of the others at a later date. The last batch of S5 episodes didn't really give me enough to say about (heck, I still haven't made a full opinion of Scare Master yet), so I might as well just do that! So, without further ado, let's look at the Hooffields and the McColts. This review comes from the opinions of the poster himself. This does not reflect the opinions of the rest of the Brony community. Summary: Twilight and Fluttershy are sent to the Smokey Mountains to settle a feud between 2 families known as the Hooffields and the McColts Gotta say, I like the historical references in this episode. In case you're wondering, the whole plot and setting is based off a long feud between families called the Hatfields and McColts, and they even got the part about the Tennessee Smokey Mountains. So, that's a plus, as it sort of teaches this story to a newer generation. And I also like how the episode tells us the effects this feud had on the animal life in the valley between the 2 mountains due to the fighting getting in the way, leading to lack of food for the animals. But, gotta say that's about it as far as positives are concerned. So, what are some of the negatives? *sigh* For one, Twilight feels incredibly shoehorned in this episode. I mean, let's review all of the important things she did in this episode: What was that? You clicked the spoiler button but nothing appeared? Yeah, well, there's kind of a reason for that. Well, okay, she freezes the ponies with her magic so Fluttershy can talk.. I guess that's something..? I hear a lot of Twilicorn haters say that Twilight Sparkle is always the one who does everything most of the time, mostly in her shared episodes, and her friends never really get to shine, but, well, here's an example of an episode where Twilight basically does nothing of importance and after 10 minutes or so of that and then finally Fluttershy's role comes up and it solves everything. At least with the other map episodes is that the 2 characters sent to whatever place had at least a slight bit of importance and they made use see what the point of the characters going to the locations would be. In The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone, Pinkie Pie tried talking to Gilda about Griffonstone and was the one who realized what was really "lost" in Griffonstone and Rainbow Dash getting stuck made Gilda save her and also realize that. In Made in Manehattan, as meh as it was, at least Rarity and Applejack made a team effort, and we found out why Applejack was called. Here, it's plain obvious that Fluttershy's going to be the one that helps out. It doesn't really help either that Twilight Sparkle's also pretty flanderized in this episode. In fact, Rainbow Dash making fun of her in The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone actually got her character better than her actual character in this episode. In this entire episode, she's trying to refer to her books so she can solve this fued and maybe Fluttershy's advice. For the Princess of Friendship, this makes her seem flanderized and idiotic, plus she could've probably even thought about some of the previous things she learned in the past to help here to help her settle this feud, but she doesn't! For most if not all of this episode, she's essentially like "uhh they need help settling this feud? mabe dis random book on frendship will help solv et xdd." The pacing in this episode doesn't help either. The plot alone does feel like something better suited for an 11 minute cartoon episode, but the way they drag it out is by having Twilight trying to find the answers in her books, because despite it being one of Twilight's worst moments and huge flanderization on her end, it's the one "plot point" that the writers choose to fill and drag this episode with, because it was obviously funny the first time (sarcasm pls), so let's run it so into the ground that it goes on the exact opposite side of Earth and leaves the Earth's atmosphere. Yeah, it gets old really quickly. Not to mention, while I like the historical references, the Hooffields and McColt family members really aren't that interesting of characters. They're essentially redneck stereotypes and their personalities are just really bland. The only ones that actually have some sort of personality and characterization are the main ponies of the family, Daddy McColt and Ma Hooffield, and even then they're not really Plus, the ending feels really rushed. For a feud that's lasted so long, it pretty much just goes like "ogm the animals dont liek u fiteing" "ok sry" and then, poof, every problem that went through the Hooffields and the McColts went away.. like magic!1 Not to mention, the whole backstory between their fight makes it feels like the McColts were actually the ones who did something bad by Piles building the house over the patch of land he knew Grub was using for his garden, which doesn't help to make it feel like they were both in the wrong. Overall Opinions: Uhh.. this episode was okay I guess..! you know what, who am i kidding, this one sucked. While I liked the historical references and use of the animals for the plot, that's all that this episode really has, and it's all overshadowed by the poor characterization, bad pacing and rushed resolution, with the overall dull and boring atmosphere of this episode being the cherry on top of this shit cake. While I wouldn't say it's on the same level of badness as Boast Busters and Rainbow Falls, I'd definitely say this is my least favorite episode of S5 (either this or Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep. i know, controversial choice) and is on my Top 10 least favorite episodes of MLP. So overall, I don't like one, but that shouldn't be a surprise 3/10 My Episode Ranking: 1. Crusaders of the Lost Mark (S5E18) 2. The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone (S5E8) 3. Rarity Investigates (S5E15) 4. Amending Fences (S5E12) 5. The Cutie Map (S5E1+2) 6. Make New Friends But Keep Discord (S5E7) 7. Brotherhooves Social (S5E17) 8. Canterlot Boutique 9. Tanks for the Memories (S5E5) 10. Castle Sweet Castle (S5E3) 11. Party Pooped (S5E11) 12. Bloom and Gloom (S5E4) 13. Made in Manehattan (S5E16) 14. Slice of Life (S5E9) 15. Princess Spike (S5E10) 16.
