      I'm an adult anyway, so it's not like I 'need' to tell them anything anymore. I still do, because I love 'em and it's nice to have a shoulder to lean on now and then. =)

      Wow, thanks for being so understanding and for talking this out with me guys! :) You both have very good points... and Kay, I am the exact same way with my parents! I was a closet pegasister for a while, until I opened up to them about it... and I'm so glad I did so. But when I told my BFF, man, was that a mistake. -_- (but we aren't really friends anymore... it's a long story.) But there are definitely things (like this!) that I just couldn't bare to tell them. :/
