Cute and unique looking though it lacks a tail

Dang, man, that detail! Too much perhaps though. Most of those flame decals are likely to get obscured by any mane or accouterments. So too, since this is a medium of fur how can we explain how errant hairs don't blur those thin, clear lines? That tends to be something more you can do with a harder medium like skin or scale. Something tatoo-able you know? 

  That's what I mean too. In several places its clear this specimen has long hair, yet near the neck & ear there's small diamond-like patterns that would close up if the hair thair were truly that long. There's a bit of a sacrifice to make there between fluff & pattern. It's why it get a tetch tiffed at ponies like Twilight or Rainbow when all logic would imply that those manes would get clearly tosseled in color.
