Nah, Discord kept doing that too, so I applied to the committee of spirits for a function change. They changed the name but didn't changed nature cause DIscord was already doing all the work, so I do what I want 

 Nah, its not about what would be fun, its about what you are. I'm confusion because I can't help but be every whichway about everything. I feel everything, and by that same token cannot feel for any one thing. I am nothing & everything all at once while being everything apart.

  If we could choose these things purely by basis of what was pretty or cool, we'd all be the Spirit of Life or the Spirit of Death, and that would just diminish what we embody. 

    ...and also be just unbearably Mainstream.

I think I was supposed to be the spirit of creation before, but I got corrupted and fell into the chaossy part of the whole spirit shenanigan. They tried to pluck me into the role of spirit of dreams, but it got a backlash from Moonbutt xd 
I wouldn't be the spirit of life or death, it's boring. You can make critters, or you can kill them. I mean, Discord can squish someone with boulder, or make a teacup go alive, so it makes life/death underrated xd
