  1. Why is that so? Is it because of the fashion and the architecture (Art Deco looks very good)?
  2. Almost everyone has a favourite history period, and some fictional characters (such as the Mane Six) are no exception. As a history fan myself, I wonder what periods of Earth history (such as the Hittite Empire, the Victorian era, mediaeval Japan) would each member of the Mane Six like the most?
  3. If ever they imprison me, I would try to adapt to prison life. I would also try to tell the guards and the court on the exact events of the crash.
  4. On the other hand, I find inspiration in the weirdest things, such as those movies. Those colourful, high-school-themed humans of EqG look so alien to me, that they inspire me to write stories about science fiction, aliens, and clones. Especially what those clones would do, if they created a civilisation and a mythology of their own! By the way, your little Dash is so cute when she's grumpy.
  5. When the first Equestria Girls movie was released, it received a largely negative reaction, due to it making the well-known pony characters to become a high school-themed, cliche-ridden movie. However as the sequels got released, the reception was more positive, mainly aided by a more improved storyline and Sunset becoming a more important character. Now, I would like to know if there is anyone here who still hates Equestria Girls? I am not trying to attack others, but I am just curious. Thank you.
  6. On a side-note, my fellow fans in Malaysia are waiting for Golden Screen Cinemas to announce the release date of the MLP:FiM Movie.
  7. Hasbro has many offices in many countries, but what happened in Poland that caused Hasbro to select it of all the other countries?
  8. "Legend of Everfree" was released in Brazil, and "Dance Magic" was released in Poland, earlier than in America and other countries. I wonder why did Hasbro choose to release them earlier? Was it due to a partnership with other companies in those countries, or that Hasbro wants to seize a chance to sell their products in those countries?
  9. Ponies as jet fighters can be a fun idea: your idea is interesting. I would like to see it become a story.
  10. Say, the Mane Six stumble upon a movie, in which six of its worst antagonists resemble them. Furthermore, these six villains also have a very popular fanbase, ranging from fans who appreciate their backstories and motivations, to people who enjoy cosplaying with beautiful costumes. Would the Mane Six either get upset by their negative portrayal, or would they appreciate their newfound fanbase (even though these fans focus on the derived characters, and not them)?
  11. Twilight - water Pinkie - fire (energy) Applejack - earth Rainbow - air Flutter - earth Rarity - water (ice can look like diamonds) Sunset - fire (obvious from her appearance) Trixie - water Starlight - fire Celestia - fire Luna - water
  12. I would treat them fairly as well, but I am also wondering about anyone else, if they were the leader of a country with some Equestrian people (or aliens) living among them. If that may have offended you, I am sorry about that.
  13. The humans of Equestria Girls have unusual skin and hair colours, so I sometimes imagine them as aliens. It would be interesting to see how would these colourful humanoids would survive in the real world, since their appearance can make them easily stand out from the crowd. Say, you became the president, king, or queen of your own country, and there exists communities of colourful humans, exactly like those from the "Equestria Girls" movies, living as minorities in your country. How would you treat the colorful "Equestrian humans" who reside within your territory, if you are the leader of your own nation? Would you treat them fairly as you would to other humans? Or would you reduce their status over their unusual appearance, even enslave them if you wish?
  14. For the fandom, I am here to talk with friends and browse fanart. I also spend a lot of time tagging on Derpibooru. For this forum, I go there to see how others will have to say about several issues, or to find out about the pony show and its fandom.
  15. "Equestria Girls" is a series of cartoon movies involving the winged unicorn Twilight Sparkle crossing into another universe to get her crown back from a thief. In the other universe, all the people are cartoonish humanoids whose skin, hair, and eyes have unusual colours. Apparently they were produced as a way to compete against Mattel's Monster High dolls. I sometimes wonder what kinds of things would be appealing to draw new fans to enjoy those movies. Would it be: them resembling (and being other forms of) the characters of the original pony show? their bizarre and beautiful colours? their personalities and actions?
  16. It is usually classical music, especially of a piano, a slow and soft violin, or a pipe organ melody, that is soothing to my ears. They (especially the pipe organ melodies) also stimulate my imagination as I create beautiful scenes from the music within my mind.
  17. Say, if you are the king, prime minister, or president of your country. And in your country there are people who either have romantic relations with extra-terrestrials, or who married and had offspring with extra-terrestrials. My policy for this would be to restrict it only to aliens that are more "human-like", and only to their existing communities within my countries (if they were around for at least a century or more, and if they were already doing human-alien romances and offspring not with force). All other aliens would be banned from romance or offspring with my human citizens, as I consider that to be closer to disgusting bestiality. What about you? How would you deal with human-alien romances, if you became the rule of your country?
  18. Sometimes, I wonder why did Hasbro or the staff choose to screen the "Equestria Girls" film to the Los Angeles Film Festival. Was it because they wanted to win a competition, to make their film seem more prestigious (as it was premiered in a film festival instead of an ordinary cinema), or simple to advertise their film? And what would be the difference if they instead screened the "Equestria Girls" film in an ordinary cinema?
  19. What else will they do? Stop selling the worshipped toys to make themselves look secular, or continue selling them without regards?
  20. Say, Hasbro sells MLP at Country X, whose people consider gryphons as sacred animals in their religion. As a result, many customers from that country (not just little girls and their parents, and any local bronies and pegasisters) go to toy stores all over Country X to buy any sets with Gilda figures, to use these plastic images of that particular she-gryphon as idols to worship their gods. How would Hasbro react to its customers, from that particular country, treating some of its toys like religious items? Would Hasbro stop selling the worshipped toys to preserve its secular image, or to avoid religious controversies? Or would Hasbro not only continue selling the worshipped toys, but also theme those toys after the customers' culture and folktales? Or even use this unusual tradition to promote an event influenced by Country X's local traditions, to promote their toys and entertain their customers?
  21. 1. Fans of that pony show (including women, or just anyone of any age who is not a little girl) 2. Guys who like that pony show, and who sometimes get obsessed with it (look at the brony spammers from 2011 for a good example of their amusing behaviour). At least the better ones make some good fanart, but more of them prefer techno music. 3. Amusing people, especially the "cringe" section -- people like them were one of the reasons why I stayed in the fandom, just to laugh at them or look at their crazy behaviour for fun!
  22. Granted. She loses her intelligence, and reverts to an Arabian horse over time. I wish I can keep her for riding shows.
  23. But what kind of jobs or lifestyles do you think each of the three would end up in? Each of them are different individuals.
