    I guess I have a higher opinion of the movie than a lot of people here. I thought the movie was amazing! It could be that I already know the characters though.

    I don't find it to be super girly... As in, just for little girls... This is about what I thought the show would be like before I saw it

    I wasn't really referring to people who already had an interest in the show. I was saying that people who are like "EWW PONIES", might be more curious in watching the show after seeing it actually isn't super girly.

    That was kind my idea with the movie.... I think people are more likely to watch kids shows if they are first introduced via movie. THEN after the movie that might be curious enough to watch the show

    I was never trying to claim the show had lots of action. I simply stated that because of the action in the movie, it would break the preconceived notion that MLP is super girly. I know when I first watched MLP I thought it was gonna be really dumb kids show like Dora or something that was about ponies having tea parties without any depth. If I had seen that it actually wasn't super girly show with zero depth, I might have given it a chance sooner. _______________________________________________________________________ This about described what I thought the show would be like before I watched it:

    If it was just one VA they would likely just replace them with an impersonator. And then the brony fandom would complain about it for the next 200+ years.....

    this movie likely had a 3-8 million budget which would make it a great success. Especially with the lack of advertising there is no way the movie had a 65 million dollar budget like some rumors.

    1. Doesn't neccesarly mean he knew they would save the world. 2. Yeah, instantly grown into a small sapling would make sense, it is a magical tree after all. 3. Depends where he went into the future. 4. I doubt they would talk about there formal schooling in the book and it seemed like they were friends in the show finale.

    Critics call everything Sh*t, that's how there reviews blow up. The brony fandom was born from a review which completely tore Friendship is Magic pilot apart. Then it turned out the show "critic" had only seen the trailer for the pilot, he didn't even watch the show.......

    I did a weird mix of flash puppets. As well as cut and paste editing from show clips. and vegas. So a bunch of different stuff

    While it's not over were getting pretty close. Overall I think this season is pretty much consistently good, but I didn't really feel a ton of episodes knocked it out of the park.     I like the idea of a more anime style storyarch spinoff. I wouldn't really expect it to happen though. With friendship is magic they get adults and kids watching and buying toys.

    Good episode. Kinda glad this got released early because episode 17 was a disappointment imo.

    Meh, it was good, just kinda uneventful. I just don't really care too much for the reformed changlings

    Yea, sleepless in ponyville is in my top favorites if not my favorite episode.
