They're borrowing a lot from Go and Let's Go huh, with seeing the wild encounters outside of battle and all that

I unironically miss the old days of HMs and no wild Pokemon outside of battle but what can you do

Dynamax seems gimmicky and a poor man's Mega Evolution

Man Game Freak, why are you pretending Megas don't exist anymore

Raid Battles sound like fun though a nice step to more multiplayer ideas for the Pokemon series

Nice to see Gyms back, they're not exactly the same but no problem

This Dynamax gimmick seems like it will make Gym battles too easy when you use it but too hard when you don't though

Leon seems like a total bro, would have alcoholic tea and scones with

He has a Charizard though, I pray for no more Kanto shilling in the future

I hope this Happy Hoppy rival isn't like Cheren or Hau or the others, I kind of want to see another Barry rival again

It's been a while since we had an old Professor and a female one, I welcome Professor Mognolia to the series with an open heart

Sonia's trenchcoat is pretty, that's all I got to say about her

I like both the new two Legendaries, they are pretty interesting so far

I'm glad we're getting more wolf Pokemon actually, like real wolves

Though I'm leaning on Sword atm cause I like sword wolf more

Shame we didn't get to see enough of the locations

I'm a little worried that the series might be completely run by gimmicks with stuff like Dynamax
