i think there's less creativity over pegasus ocs, a lot of peeps make them mostly because flying is cool to them. but their main talent is music/art/games, and the flying part is an afterthought. there's cooler ideas to unicorn and earth pony ocs, i believe. with those two you can make more believable ocs by correlating their talent and their race.

futurama is based. i don't like western cartoons otherwise though, not even mlp these days

think it's overrated. but i'm an idiot when it comes to music, so maybe there's something about it that i don't get that others do. i liked the other two dazzling songs better

necroposting has already been discussed, but it's worth saying people also revive old threads because it avoids cluttering the forums with the same topics. 

i think i got off easy. i didn't have anywhere to go that was important, i live dab smack in the middle of nowhere, live in one of the least affected states of my country, and my government actually did okay with handling the situation. i'm very germ-conscious even before the pandemic, so i was all over social distancing when that system was put in place. the only thing that i really wanted to do for 2020 was to travel, but borders close and stuff.

i downplay covid more than what i should because of my experiences, so i admit i can come off as insensitive on how other people are handling it. i do worry about my friends though, they are in a tougher situation than anyone else i know.

i treat any year like it's the same - focus on myself, and not think too much about what people do. for me, my 2020 wasn't perfect, but i learnt things out from it, and i worked through obstacles that came my way. so i don't care about 2020 being over. it's just another year in my eyes

maybe i'm an insensitive jackass, but people really need to focus on themselves more, instead of tying their whole identity down on current events

Earthbound has uninteresting main characters

It's a fantastic game technically speaking, and the dialogue really is as hilarious as what people say. But for a game that heavily focuses on friendship themes, Ness and the gang don't actually feel like good friends. They teamed up just to take down Giygas, and they were quick to move on with their lives straight after Giygas' defeat. Other RPGs have a more substantial focus on teamwork and relationships than what Earthbound claims to have. Hell even Ness and Pokey get more out from their interactions, and Pokey hates Ness.

I did enjoy playing it, but that lack of connection doesn't make me want to return to it.

I did a marathon of Futurama a while ago, and I forgot how hilarious it is. Comparing it to The Simpsons is a common mistake made by people who haven't seen a lot of Futurama; they're both different in their audiences and style of humour. Comparing them to Family Guy is even worse, they're all different from each other.

But Simpsons is only better than Futurama interms of design atleast "execution is lack luster however" but Futurama as a whole is friggin terrible

Playing it safe with a joke doesn't mean that it isn't funny, and vice versa. Those videos you linked aren't funny imo, not because it points out The Simpsons' flaws, but it's how the creator of these videos present it. It's obvious they don't like the show, and the punchline is almost always "haha I hate this show" because of it. It's more petty than funny, if anything. A lot of creators these days rely on this kind of humour if they have something theu hate, and it even comes off as boring because of it

Edgy humour is far more predictable than what you make it out to be. You get more cheap laughs out from going with the easy way out and making fun of specific groups of people.

Could be better, could be worse, I guess.
