You got it Artsy, and be careful out there. Brave made a slight grin as he watched Artsy storm out into the dark abyss. He hoped she came back safely, but he remembered that he had to keep positive thoughts. He knew she'd be back just fine. He turned to the rest of the others and had a general idea of what to say, hoping it would be serious... Okay everyone! Listen up! I want everyone here and lined up. Scattered is not good. I want everyone to think happy thoughts! Think kittens and puppies and cute forest animals! This sounds beyond silly for the situation we're in... Discord wants us in disarray, confusion, and, of course, chaos. But we're not going to let him. If anyone comes in contact with Discord, do not believe him and don't let him get to you. He noticed one of the ponies rush to that shouting. Brave thought for a moment to stop him, but he couldn't leave his post. Artsy ordered him to. On second thought, it was better. That pony took the initiative to find out what was going on. And if things sounded to get serious from that place, Brave would check it out. He turned back to the group Now once Artsy returns, we can start getting things going. And you guys can bet your bottom dollar that Artsy is returning. I want everyone fully trusting Artsy returning safe and sound with the others. I have my worries, but I need to put my full trust in her. We need to trust each other. Brave watched every pony with their colored variety, hairstyles, and eyes. He tried to get a sense of who they were based on their cutie marks. They are all unique. "...surpress..." Everyone in this group will get through and will defeat Discord. We all can and WILL make it.

Brave pondered on the thought of causing harmony. The only thing that came to mind was song, but he wasn't going to suggest that idea. There was organizing. That's a basic idea of harmony. Maybe cleaning? A clean home is clear mind, right? Although it seems silly, it's the only logical thing to do. Positive thoughts, eh? I don't think that should be too hard... Hmmm, something to get everyone's spirits up... maybe their powers? They all have those "cutie marks," so they have some special gift. Hope this works... In a loud voice, he yells to everyone: I THINK YOU ALL HAVE VERY SPECIAL TALENTS THAT MAKE YOU UNIQUE AND AMAZING! ​Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, that was embarrassing to say...

Brave listened diligently to what Artsy had to say. Seems like she had some sort of revelation or guidance when she was alone. She did seem upset and maybe she realized something... "...but there's this pony that appeared in my room, kinda. She was all... this hologram thing. Big and tall and white. Looked really important. Had a crown on her head..." One second... I saw something like that before... when I woke up... but I can't be too sure though... Is that the same one she's talking about? Brave continued to listen to what she had to say. With Discord wanting chaos and us being in a space that caused it, Brave assumed it was making him stronger. Chaotic actions, dialogue, and anything of the sort would make him stronger or make us weaker. Both seemed plausible. As soon as Artsy finished, one pony started to bicker and a few others retaliated. Brave watched silently at the bickering. That isn't helping. I don't see why we can't trust each other. And out of nowhere, Peach was sent through the door into the odd abyss. Brave wasn't close enough to react. He reflected on what he could remember so far. He woke up. Saw that flying pony. Met Artsy. A snowstorm happened. Got led back to this inn. Met other ponies and understood Discord a bit. The storm became worse and then ended up in some other dimension... This isn't a dream. He saw everything there was up to this point. He felt the snow and the heat of the inn. He tasted the delicious soup. He smelled the different aromas around the forest and the inn. He heard everything from the other ponies, to the crackle of the fireplace and the steps each pony made, to the howling wind of the snowstorm, and nothing thereafter. A dream doesn't have a beginning. You just start right in the middle. There was the beginning of me waking up in that forest. I didn't find myself suddenly walking in a snowstorm and knowing everyone right off the bat. This is not a dream. This is very unbelievable, but nothing is telling me that I'm in a hospital in some coma. This "dream" had a beginning. If it was a dream, I could get Peach back right...now. Nothing happened. Peach did not return. Nothing made some sign to it either. Artsy seems to have gotten this message and it seems like that princess that Peach had said she was, is going to send her messages in the future. It seems that Discord took Peach because she is a natural resident in this place...Artsy isn't. Peach was going to help us out and Discord is stopping that. At this point, I'm putting my trust with Artsy. I can't do anything else, because I don't know what to do. I need to build my courage to face Discord in the future. Brave felt a bit nervous, but that thought came to him again, "...be brave... ...be brave... ...be brave..." He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Upon exhaling, he opened his eyes and turned to everyone. HEY! If we continue to bicker, cry, worry, moan, or anything else that doesn't bring action, Discord is going to be controlling two worlds. We just happen to be Discord's "fortunate" ammunition. If we continue like this, he's going to get stronger and cause us to make things worse. Now Artsy here has gotten a message that is going to help us and we need to trust not only her, but each other as well. Discord wants us to be in disarray. He wants us to be the catalyst to his overtaking. He wants us to fail. I hope some of you already share the feelings of what I'm saying, and I'm sure some of you do not. But we need to start right now to stop Discord. He turned to Artsy once more. You may not have all the answers and information, but if that princess is telling you things, I'll defend you from Discord. He looks at his blank flank and back to Artsy. Even though I may not have some known power... I'll do what I need to do to set balance. His legs were shaking, his heart was pounding, and he felt out of breath, but he hoped that no one noticed. "Be brave... be brave... be brave..."

Brave also took a look outside. It wasn't snowing anymore. It was some odd, dark corrupted place. He started to get tense. He glanced around the inn trying to spot anything that might cause Discord to attack at any moment. Where is this guy... He's gotta be near. And why is he attacking us, or doing whatever he is doing to us? I don't quite follow... What is he gaining from from this? Other than control of this world, but why us? Do we hold some sort of power or key to his demise? I wish I underst--- YIKES! Brave jumped from hearing Artsy's loud, overpowering voice echo throughout the inn. He immediately looked toward the way that she would eventually come down from. What's going on?, Brave says to those immediately near him.

I'm more of a House and Trance guy myself, both in the progressive setting. I love songs that have powerful beats and seem to hit you emotionally in a sense. I also enjoy Smooth Jazz for calmer settings just to chillax. Two more genres I enjoy listening to is Eurobeat and Eurodance. They were well known in the late 80s up to the end of the 90s. They portrayed songs of positivity, love, peace, dancing, partying, and even overcoming tough emotions. This genre was a big part of my childhood in the 90s, but I hadn't realized it until a few months ago when I rediscovered Eurodance that it was what got me to love House and Trance. Brave saw Silver collapse, but stand up again. He caught where there was a wound, and with Peach also taking notice, he left his bowl of soup and walked over to Silver. Don't move... Okay, the pony that led us here is named Silver, from what Peach said... Remember that Brave... Brave analyzed the gash on his shoulder, but he turned away when he needed to sneeze twice. Looks like the cold weather finally got to him. He rubbed his nose a bit with his hoof and looked at the gash once more. He turned around. Is there some sort of medical kit nearby? Maybe antibiotics and some bandages? Or can magic heal this? Brave wasn't sure how far medicine has advanced in this world, so he doesn't know if Silver would be okay or not. He also remembered he led him and the others through the snow with this injury. That took a lot of strength, but he hopes that it didn't infect it either. You look like you need to let it rest for tonight.

Brave was glad that everyone laughed. After shaking off the snow, stones, and carrot, he turned to Peach. No, it's alright! Laughter is a good medicine! Keep laughing! He gave a genuine smile and nodded. If there was something he knew from memory, it was laughter. He understood that as long as everyone is happy, he is happy. He wanted to make sure and from the mood he got from her earlier, she didn't seem too hot. Peach's laughter livened it up for her. He listened to the bearded pony speak. What would she be doing? If it were up to Brave, he'd like to confront Discord. But with what little he knew about him and his past, it's better that he and the other ponies get adjusted. He walked over to the table where the bowls of soup were being set. He moved to a vacant spot and started eating. Something he's never had before, but it was some good soup. Once he gets the chance, he would ask the others what their names were and what they remember from either the human-turned-ponies or natural ponies living here.

Brave also was curious to this "Discord" character. He rushed to the window, but only saw the falling snow and the arctic-like setting that this town has become. A serious look appeared on his face. He glanced left and right, but still could not see this Discord. Who is he? He goes to the main door and opens it. Upon peeking out, his face is blasted with a bunch of snow. On top of that, a carrot is plopped from nowhere onto Brave's nose as well as two stones over where his eyes should be. Brave closes the door and turn to everypony else, wherever he thinks they are. He spits out a bit of snow. Is this guy a bit goofy?

Brave nodded at the information of these cutie marks and of Discord. Wonder what he looks like... He ponders on what the situation may call for in the future. Would they need to fight? Would they need something specific? Is Discord weak to something? Hmmm... Then there was also the matter of "blank flanks." To Brave, it seemed like a name you made fun of someone. He could easily tell. It was "catchy." Like the other names he was called before..... ~~~~~ ???'s father was angry. He was angry that his son was being bullied and that none of the teachers or faculty seemed to do anything about it. He has had enough of it. After hearing how his son was bullied after school, ???'s father walks along the white, tiled floor and picks up the receiver. He dials the school's number and looks ahead straight with an angry face. ???'s mother watches in the living room holding onto ???. Hello? Yes. I'm calling about my son, ??? ???. I am TIRED with you people not doing anything about this bullying problem! Every time I have to see my son in tears because they call him names like nerd, geek, weirdo, and how they ostracize him! I want something done about this or I will tell my son to start beating up those bullies! As soon as his father said it, ??? stood up, away from her mother's grasp. NO! Dad, I am not going to beat anyone up. Not even those bullies. ??? could have said something more profound, but how much do you know at 11 years old? His father looked at him, and then he looked away. His mother nodded at his son for both his smart decision and bravery against his father, someone who worked laboriously on a regular basis and had a powerful voice that could shake anyone. He wasn't a bad man, just someone who didn't think the right thing almost all of the time. ~~~~~ Brave smiled at the thought. He could hear his dad, but he couldn't hear the place where his name was... odd. He left it at that and looked at the pot of soup again. I might need someone with magic to help me, or if some...pony...jeez that's awkward to get used to... somepony to show me how to get my own soup... or do anything with my mouth... ugh, that sounds gross... Just then, the door opened and he saw a pony frozen stiff walk in and head to the fireplace. (He still isn't aware that Crystal Flame helped). The pony lay down, warmed up close to the fire, and stared right into it. Something was wrong and Brave knew it. He called out to the pony by the fireplace. Hey, you okay there? How long were you out there? We've got some soup here to help warm you up.

Brave watched as Artsy walked away to a room for bed. He wanted to say goodnight, or whatever time it was. Even he wasn't sure at this point. Nor did he feel tired, with him waking up and there being a snowstorm suddenly. He would like a bowl of soup on the other hand... err hoof... again. But at least he knew now he could ask questions. This has been nagging me for a while now... He looked at his rear and then to everyone elses. What's with everyone having a mark on their rears and I'm the only one without a mark? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? And... Peach was your name? Can you explain this situation a bit more? He looked at the pot of soup for a bit and tilted his head. How am I going to get soup without fingers? Uhhh... He looked at the pot and a nearby bowl with confusion.

This looks really well done! Well, considering all the cupcakes, cakes, and other various sweets she eats, I wouldn't be surprised.

Brave already saw her bluff. They are... or were, both humans. He could tell she didn't want this secret coming out. And what's with that other pony saying where we came from and what happened? Discord? Who or what is that? Turned into ponies? What? First off, how does she know? Second, I can see why she's saying it. Better to let it out now. If we kept it in, it might cause more trouble for us and all of the other ponies that were naturally born and live here. Question is... should I follow with Artsy's bluff, or should I come clean... I need to come clean, even if Artsy might hate me for it later. I think I'm the only one in the dark about this, if Artsy isn't either. That mark is going to have to wait a bit longer it seems, too. Well, can you explain the situation a bit? I just woke up in that forest, met Artsy and suddenly a snowstorm happened. So I don't quite follow this story you're saying...

Following behind Artsy, Brave entered the inn, but not before spitting out the stick. The stick flung into a pile of snow and immediately put out the fire. Once inside, he looked around the homely feel of the inn. He saw the fireplace on the other side of the room, and thought Artsy might feel better in front of it. He saw her move to one corner of the room. I bet she's just trying to get warm, but I'll ask later if anything's up. Brave decides to walk toward the pony that led him and the others back to this inn. Once again, he notices their rears. Those marks... what's with em... Brave first decides to introduce himself, as he promised back in the forest. Hello ...uh... ponies... Thanks for helping me out there. I'm sure Artsy is grateful as well. My name's Brave. He extends his hoof, but realizes again, no fingers. Right. Things might get awkward in the future...​ He lowers his hoof in embarrassment.

Hey Artsy, how you holding up with this weather? Brave looked at Artsy from behind, but at that point, he couldn't tell Artsy was crying with all the snow coming down slightly masking everypony's vision, and considering that she was looking away from Brave. We're almost there, Artsy. I hope she's alright... but I've got a weird feeling... As for Brave, he was shivering, but he kept it to himself. He really just woke up and now there's a blizzard? There's no way he was going down after waking up so soon. He trudged along getting closer and closer to buildings in the distance, one of them being Town Hall.

(For the topic prefix, I had no clue what to put, considering it is like a mix of a few of em and none of em at all. So I just put down writing I suppose. Also this is Pony related, so I don't think this goes in the Beyond Ponyville section either.) (Many of you may find this TL:DR) Hello there everypony. I just wanted to spill my thoughts out of some day dreams I've have whenever I play my house or trance music whenever I do play it in my life. Ever since I became a brony in mid-January, I've gotten to know more of the Mane 6's character, personality, and whatnot. Usually, I have had just random day dreams about em, as I'm sure most, if not all, have had before. But when I play my house or trance music on my iPhone, I look at the name of it and I imagine if the song played currently gave some sort of power. Giving some background, I wanted to make a homebrew (think original class) for Dungeons and Dragons. It involved the character being a sort of Music Mage, where his/her songs buffed him/the party and/or debuffed enemy. It didn't give the character a fighting style, but merely complimented it. Back to ponies, that idea leaked into my day dreams and I thought: "What if the Mane 6 could use this sort of power. Now some of you might think why would I have ponies fight? Well, I had planned it so they wouldn't kill, but in the least, disable. And by disable, I just mean something along the lines of to bring unconscious. It is fighting, but more or less restricted fighting. There were times where I'd imagine some big and/or tough enemy and they would have to go all out to take it out. Oh, and I'm there too in order to "cast" the abilities. Because we all want to be a part of their adventures, right? A lot of the house and trance tracks I have can be general or specific. Some are to be solely used by a certain pony, some are for two or three, and others are for the entire party. I kinda imagined it in the sense of Kingdom Hearts where you would have guest party members at certain points, so I imagined Octavia and DJ PON3 (Vinyl Scratch) joining up and using their song (Hybrid - Finished Symphony) in order to combat an enemy. I'm just listing two examples of each genre (considering my house and trance library consist of over 300 songs...) that I can remember off the top of my head and describe who its for, what the abilities and effects are, and all that stuff. (When running through this I put in too much links to YouTube, so only the first one is listed, just to match up with the times I put. For the rest, please search for them! They're great songs!) ~~~~~ Rainbow Dash's "Theme" (Armin van Buuren ft. Ferry Corsten - Brute) [House Music] http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFmc_Szgc2c&hd=1 Generally, the song is supposed to only work for Dash. The song from the get-go speeds up Dash to a speed that she normally doesn't travel at. The song can be used for both combat and as a performance, for example, something she could have used in the Best Young Fliers Competition, but unfair for races and I strongly discourage the RD in my head from doing. A note though is that at around 5:11 in the song, Dash needs to climb altitude for what's to come. At 5:25, her wings magically disappear and she will go into a state of free fall. During this time, time seems to slow down, but at the same time, it doesn't. (It's weird in my head, I suppose.) At 5:50, her wings come back, but they're the size of Princess Celestia and she automatically moves at Sonic Rainboom Speed. But between 5:25 and 5:50, those can be Rainbow Dash's longest 25 seconds ever. At around 7:00, her wings return to normal and she decelerates to her normal speed. In terms of combat, she is extremely evasive and can confuse the target, but still provide damage. In terms of competitions, she can dazzle the crowd with the speed and agility that the song provides. Celestia and Luna "Co-op Team-up" OR Party using the power of Celestia and/or Luna (Above & Beyond ft. Richard Bedford - Sun and Moon (Marcus Schossow Remix)) [Trance Music] This song I thought of Celestia and Luna coming out at one point (not like a summon in KH) and pretty much being boss. They pretty much move quickly, attack fast and hard, and use either light or dark attacks for Celestia and Luna, respectively. Alternatively, the song could be used on the party and they would be able to use their powers. The time of day actually depends as well. If it is daytime, they get Celestia's powers. Nighttime equals Luna's. If it is either sunrise or sunset, they will get both powers, but if it is sunrise, then they get a "regular Luna buff" but a "lesser Celestia buff". The vice versa applies to sunset. I have it that way and not the other way around because sunrise means it still is dark and the light is just beginning. Same for sunset, but the other way around. Me and Another Pony (DJ Tiesto & Sneaky Sound System - I Will Be Here (Original Mix)) [House Music] This song's power is actually based on how much of a relationship/friendship I am with the certain Mane 6 pony. If the relationship is strong and tight, then me and the other pony will get stronger in their sense. Pinkie and Applejack will be physically stronger. Rarity and Twilight will be magically stronger. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy will fly faster. Even with those basics, they get their own special buffs. Generally this isn't some song I could use early on our adventure if my relationship with any of the ponies isn't strong enough, where another song could fair much better. Another thing is that this song places me as a defender of the pony. Taking into account the lyrics of the song: "You know when the moment comes, to be strong, show resistance and that is what we're led to believe... When the big world falls apart, and you think 'That the feeling will linger', you need somewhere to start. I Will Be Here.", it more or less places me to make sure that nothing will happen to the specified pony and that I truly care for her. I am her shield and defender. It also mimics outside of combat when I would need to build on their relationships by expressing that "I will be here" for you whenever you're down and need help. Me and the Mane 6 (Lemon & Einar K ft. Paul Johannessen - Everlasting (Original Mix)) [Trance Music] This song could be one of the "last resort" songs in my library. If for whatever reason that the entire Mane 6 is down, and I'm the only one standing, I can activate the song. The song slowly heals the Mane 6 and they all start floating around me. A sort of bubble shield appears all around them, except me. Wherever I move, they move. They have increased defense to prevent them from getting downed and constant hp recovery. As for me, I don't have anything else to back me up. It is pretty much all me at this point. The song only aids in recovering those downed. If for whatever reason a shield breaks, the song automatically switches me and the other pony. I take the hit and the other pony is safe. The other ponies can attack in their shields, but they at least need me to send them out and they return as soon as they have finished their attack. This is one of the more risky songs, along with last resort, because if I am downed at whatever point, the shields disappear and the healing stops at whatever point they were at. ~~~~~ I haven't really had some sort of story going along with these songs. It's more or less when a song comes up in my iPhone, the battle just starts. It's like a dream: you don't know how it started, you just seem to be right in the middle of it (taking something from Inception. =P). Anyway, that's all I have to say for this. If you're wondering about what I had as the "theme" for each of the Mane 6 members, including mine, here they are, with tiny reasons as to why, but I won't list the specifics. Twilight Sparkle P.O.S. - Gravity [Trance Music] The name to me suggested that her magic became amplified to such a degree that there was such a pressure around her. I pictured that there were stars around her with this gravity around her. It kinda makes Twilight happy because she feels this enormous magical power that, ultimately, will want to make her study and practice magic more. Rarity Dezza - Allure (Original Mix) [House Music] There was a point where I thought what Rarity's might be, but after searching the definition of allure, the power to attract, I knew this was hers. The song goes will with her, in my opinion. Applejack Johan Gielen - Physical Overdrive [Trance Music] Applejack is a strong character in MLP, so I thought that the name, Physical Overdrive, went well with her strength. Not much to say about this actually. Pinkie Pie Fonzerelli - Moonlight Party 2011 (Original Born Again Mix) [House Music] It's Pinkie Pie. Why would her theme NOT be about partying? Fluttershy Alex M.O.R.P.H ft. Sylvia Tosun - An Angel's Love [Trance Music] Fluttershy's Theme just represent her love and nonviolence (in my day dreams, Flutts is the one that attacked the least, if not at all). Considering that she is the element of kindness, and how the song relates to angels (maybe even referring to her pet bunny, Angel?), this fits well. The vocals in this song are also beautiful, and I imagine Fluttershy singing them herself at times. Rainbow Dash Armin van Buuren ft. Ferry Corsten - Brute [House Music] (Listed above) Dash's theme was the first one I had thought of. I don't say that she is a brute, according to the name of the song, it's just that for an odd reason, I just imagined Dash's wings magically improving and disappearing and then becoming big and moving at Sonic Rainboom Speed. Brave nods to the silver unicorn and starts treading the quickly piling snow. He keeps an eye of Artsy in front of him and takes a look toward the back as well, making sure nothing could potentially ambush them. He keeps noticing that the other ponies have marks on their rears. ...What does this mean? He turns toward his rear. Why's mine blank and they have a mark? This doesn't make sense. Both the fact that I'm the only one missing one and that there are marks on their rears to begin with... I'll make sure to ask about that when we get to wherever we're going... The cold was really getting to Brave, but he resisted. The cold he's felt before has at least toughened him up for this weather, and considering he has a fur coat, he doing fine. Artsy on the other hand, err hoof... mentioned she never knew much about snow. Brave paid close attention to signs she might have from the resulting cold.
