Ahh, this issue. Yeah, some of bronies are just terrible with their reactions on new ideas. I personally don't understand this attitude. Don't bother Yourself with them, really. Fortunately not all of us are like this.
I can relate though, new ideas can be frightening when you care about something a lot. You fear that it will change so out of fear you react not in the best way.
I personally am not a fan of design of "humanized" ponies in Equestria Girls. But I see no point in making a drama of this. Some people like it, besides nobody forces me to watch it, right?
