I'm not sure about the exact day, but some time around this week one year ago I first watched the first episode of MLP. One year sure went by fast....

Three weeks. THREE WEEKS before Season 5 begins!!! I am hype!! ARE YOU HYPE?!?! Also, this is actually the first time I've ever been hyped for a new episode—when I started watching this show, there were about eight episodes left in Season 4, and I didn't catch up to Season 4 until long after the finale ended, so this is actually the first time since I've become a brony that I've had the experience of looking forward to a new episode.

So I started reading M.A. Larson's book, "Pennyroyal Academy." I'm only about 50 pages in. It's alright so far. I'm going to go read more of it now before I go to bed.

I have, as of yesterday, finished my first semester of my second year of University. I didn't go on MLP Forums the whole time because I I knew this would otherwise become a major source of procrastination for me and a distraction from homework. But I miss this place so much!! So I'm thinking of maybe continuing to go on here next semester.. I mean, I procrastinate with other things anyways, so I might as well. In any case, during Winter Break (which ends Jan. 5, I think) I...

BronyCAN is in 3 days, aaahhhh so excited!

So I finally got around to finishing Season 4. I had heard that the finale was epic, but DANG that was amazing. One of my favourite episodes in the series for sure. It's made me so excited for Season 5.

Re-watching MLP:FIM and currently halfway through season one, I'm remembering all the reasons I fell in love with and became addicted to this show in the first place. I really think I could re-watch this series decades from now and still love it. Just so much awesomeness.

I haven't made a status update on here in a long time. Well. Here it goes. Last night I saw the new Transformers movie. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would seeing as I'm not really into Transformers and since some people at my work said the movie was terrible; I didn't mind it myself. My favourite part, of course, was when the scientists briefly made the transformium turn into Rainbow Dash. That was pretty awesome.

Haha, sounds good. It was a decent movie, I thought, at least, if you're in the mood for a whole crapload of explosions and action. Although it wasn't all just explosions and action, there were some funny parts, and I liked the characters, and the plot was better than I thought it was going to be. But Rainbow Dash's appearance, though brief, just made it that much better.

I've registered for BronyCan, which is a Canadian brony convention being held fairly close to where I live and is in August, and I'm so excited! Ahh!

I ordered a Rainbow Dash t-shirt today from Amazon. It will be my first ever pony shirt.

So a couple days ago I started reading "Fallout: Equestria." I'm already kind of addicted to it, it's really good.

I got an acoustic guitar recently. It's really fun and exciting learning a new instrument .

This morning on the drive to work I was excited to hear on a local radio station an interview with Ashleigh Ball and Brent Hodge about the documentary "A Brony Tale," which was shown at a Vancouver film festival yesterday (sadly, I did not see it). The interview also made me realize that Ashleigh Ball is from Vancouver, which makes me happy since I live in a city very close to Vancouver.

Last night I dreamt I was a pegasus. I could fly, and it was awesome, and Raibow Dash was there too, it was super awesome. Alas, I must sleep again this night. I can only hope that I will become something as awesome as before. Probably not. Because probably nothing could be as awesome as being a pegasus (well, unless I become an alicorn, that'd be cool).
