Hi! You do have eclectic interests. I like that. Hopefully you have a good time here on the forums and watching the show. And yes, you should watch MLP: FIM. You wont regret it. Well, you might have doubts when you start to realize the huge amount of cash you're spending after you begin going crazy with buying MLP toys and figurines and clothing and all kinds of merchandise... but then you'll realize it was worth it, cause why not celebrate your love for an awesome T.V. show with an amazing online community/fandom. And your family and friends might think you've gone insane, but that's okay cause all of us here will know you're perfectly sane for watching a show with colourful cartoon ponies.

I recently bought some Beany Baby MLP figures that are really well made and quite show-accurate. The show-accuracy isn't 100% perfect, but for their price (which was only 8 dollars each at the store I bought them at, I don't know how expensive they'll be at a different store), they are pretty good, and I'd definitely recommend them.

My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Fluttershy How did you find MLP Forums?: From Googling "My Little Pony forums" to see what would come up. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I heard about the Brony fanbase from the internet, just a few mentions of it, and I knew it had to do with older men who liked My Little Pony, so I thought there had to be some reason why they liked it, so I read a bit about it on Wikipedia and found out that bronies watch it cause it's actually a pretty good show with good animation and humor and whatnot, so I looked up and watched the first episode. That was some time in March; I've been into it since. I'm a university student doing a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology and minoring in English; I'm starting my second year this September. My favourite pony is Fluttershy, but Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are really close. I'm from B.C., Canada, but I go to university in Alberta. My biggest hobby besides ponies is listening to music (and I plan to buy and learn an acoustic guitar soon), but another is learning and practicing mnemonic systems, and I collect decks of cards, though it's not that big of a collection so far. I plan on practicing drawing, because right now I can't draw very well but I'd like to get better, so I'm going to practice it, especially drawing ponies. Let's see what else there is to know about me... my favourite bands: The Beatles, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Blink-182. Favourite movies: The Wizard of Oz, Schindler's List, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Favourite authors: J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, James Joyce. Favourite Novels: Ulysses, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, the Harry Potter series. Favourite T.V. shows besides MLP: Adventure Time, Seinfeld, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Community. I don't spend a huge amount of time on the internet, so there may be large periods of time of me not posting anything. But we'll see. One more thing: why I like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: the characters are awesome, the animation is beautiful, the writing is pretty funny, and the online brony community is amazing. This might be risky to say, but I think Adventure Time is a better show; however, My Little Pony is pretty close and has the best fanbase, so I'm proud to be a brony.
