I look to context and verb tense. I can't remember someone saying to me, verbatim, "What did you do this weekend?" (Though you or I could easily infer what was meant.) However, it's not unlikely to hear, "What are you doing this weekend?" It's "this" weekend because it's the "end" of this "week"; that's fairly logical and straightforward even from a grammatical standpoint. If I'm on a path (A to B ) and headed in a particular direction, I wouldn't refer to my destination as the "next" end. I'm moving towards the end of this path; my destination is this path's end.
We aren't computers; they ain't got nothing on humans. I can reason out what someone actually means by taking context into account, and I neither need - nor necessarily expect - precise language. Besides: For some people, their spoken grammar isn't as exact as their written grammar. I know what someone is saying even if they aren't talking like a grammarian writes.

My first Amazon purchase was at least a decade ago; some small collectible car (I probably don't even have anymore). Nowadays I order everything under the sun from Amazon.

Funnily enough, I recently started collecting physical comics again. I just like having a physical collection, and I always have the option to borrow or give tangible comics to others after I've "consumed" them.

Your mum is a butt head. I thought about it, and that was the nicest thing I could think to say.

I somewhat get the impression that you like owls. x )

We've read nine of the novels; I also started pretty late. x ) Have fun with the likes of Rincewind, Granny Weatherwax, DEATH (of all, um, people - I guess), Great A'Tuin, and an ever-growing cast of interesting characters.

Idunno how it's ultimately going to turn out (since they revamped the battle system and are releasing the game in episodes), but the Final Fantasy VII remake that's in the works will finally answer some of those questions you had concerning Vincent from Dirge of Cerberus. xD I'd recommend the older strictly turn-based titles (particularly FFIV and VI) if you can find them someplace (roms and emulators are a thing). And the only Assassin's Creed game I've enjoyed is Black Flag; the sailing / pirating aspect (with relatively little out-of-Animus BS) made it more appealing to me than other AC games.

I've interacted with the fandom for more than two years, and I've questioned the ability of fans to get along and accept one another from fairly early on. But then, I fall into a category or two that sometimes brings out the disapproval of other fans.

Cool. Now you can make Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations.
Maybe Christmas ones. The thought of a bunch of poster board turkeys on display for Thanksgiving doesn't really leave me enthused lol.

Do a Google search for gray alien
Oh, those guys. If you don't mind my asking: What was the encounter like?

Also I've seen a demon.
Can you / would you describe the demon?

You will disagree and for now we will agree to disagree.
I've no plans to try and change your mind about it; sounds like you've already changed, anyhow.

Idunno, I thought all that stuff from before was kind of fun. xD

Does he not understand the concept of a restraining order?

I know you guys are maybe running damage control, but I think Jeric's topic, at least, should've stayed up (I'm Team Jeric, all the way). You're just confusing some members who weren't around for the pretty long period of time that everything was available to read. If people want to jump ship, that's their business.

I doubt anyone will be able to irritate me in quite the same way you were able to. So long, DQ; good luck catching your bus.

"Every one is really a nerd." I subscribe to that way of thinking. There are even sports nerds; the stats-memorizing, fantasy football-playing types. Everyone's a nerd over something.

Oh, it's like Asteroid; simple but pretty neat. Nice chiptune shreddage lol. First time I played, I got stuck on wave four even after all targets were destroyed or meandered off-screen; second time, it was wave five. I see you included a wave skip button to cope with that.

I was just EXTREMELY nervous
I hope you someday get to where you don't feel nervous about it anymore.

While it's good that you finally took that step of getting something MLP for yourself, you're still going to what seems like a lot of trouble to hide your interest from everyone. And believe me: You didn't have to make up that cover story for the Wal-Mart employee. They don't care. MOST people probably don't. I'm over thirty years old; I'm sure it's perceived as weirder for me to watch the show than it is for you to watch it. But I don't deceive the cashier when I'm buying MLP merchandise; it just isn't necessary.

That's kind of how it started for me: Changing my desktop wallpaper to an image of Rainbow Dash sleeping on a cloud. My mom saw the wallpaper and thought it was cute; maybe yours will, too.

I approve of your interest in Mai Valentine.

I've had the impression that they might do something like this for a while now (bits of info here and there from Nintendo coupled with Japan's love affair with handhelds and Nintendo's domination of the market), and I honestly hope this is true. If I have a console that is ALSO a handheld, I don't necessarily have to buy both a Nintendo console and a Nintendo portable. And the portable I DO buy will presumably perform better. Win / win.
