So I became a brony about 2 weeks ago, and have watched all episodes since. Not only do I love the show, but I really want to find out how many people I know are bronies in disguise. Not only is my school full of people who go on places like 4chan, reddit, and other places that computer-addicted people (like myself) go on, but someone I know has specifically mentioned MLP to me. (before I was a brony) There is also a picture of a hand-drawn Rarity on the wall.
Here's a copy/paste of what I wrote up. Don't worry, there's a TL;DR at the end if you really don't like reading. (but why would you be on a forum anyway?)
EDIT: Thought you would like to know that I'm a sophomore in high school and that I'm a guy
(super cool story time) So I've recently joined the herd. I
saw many comics posted on funnyjunk and some other places,
and I wanted to see it before making fun of it. Before I
did, one of my friends mentioned wearing a MLP shirt to
school. I really didn't think much of it, but didn't make
fun of him for it either. After watching the first two
episodes out of curiousity, I went to sleep. I woke up and
watched two more before going to school. I liked it.
Two weeks later, I completely caught up with the show. I
don't know whether or not he is even aware of the show's
existance, but I'd assume so. Today, I looked on my steam
friends list to realize that someone I barely know from
school has a picture of Pinkie Pie as his picture. I wasn't
sure who it was at the time, as he didn't mention his name
anywhere on his steam account, and I haden't talked to him
for over two months.
After googling his steam name, I found out he who he was
and that he's completely open with being a brony on
facebook. In fact, some not-so-close friends of mine posted
MLP youtube videos on their facebook walls too. None of
them got harassed for doing it, and this is where I come
in.
TL;DR: Nobody knows I watch MLP, but some of them seem to
know what it is. How do you suppose I tell my friends I
watch MLP without it being questioned?
