    Meh, I've decided that I'm not going to slave for a >4.5 GPA in school any longer, partially because I don't care what my dad wants me to do, and partially because I don't want to go to a top-tier Ivy league school. I just want to go to a top 30 or so University like UVA, have a 4.1 GPA in high school, get a Comp.       Aureitas, MY VIEW EXACTLY :P UVA is a tremendously good school, it ranks just around where Carnegie Mellon is, and that has the #2 Computer Science school in the nation. Not even that, it's in-state for me, so it'd be dirt cheap! And on top of that, I've already gone through most of their undergrad Computer Science class guidelines, and learned almost everything I need to know for an undergrad in Comp. Sci. there.       But like, why would they make you do that? I mean, don't get me wrong it would be great to say that you went to some top tier college, but it's your own personal choice in the end.

       

      I never liked the parents that decide their child's fate, personally.

      I could argue off a year of studies due to all the AP's I've taken/will be taking, and then fll those class gaps with Art classes, and major in both Comp. Sci. and Art! :)
