Combing through some of my high school stuff, found this gem. Doesn't bother with pretense, just punches you in the face with speed right off the bat.

Yeah, the clean sections on this album were fantastic. Not quite used to the same level as on Malice (seriously, The Stinging Rain used that choir to max effect), but still fantastic. Also, onward to 10k.

I'm not sure really. They all sound like Misery Signals... just different facets. I think you'd end up liking Mirrors and Controller the most, as it has darker tones and less eclectic riffs.

It's all opinion, but the widely accepted opinion is that Malice and the Magnum Heart is their best album. I would say Absent Light is now their second best, Controller third, and Mirrors last. But remember, I'm bias here. This is my favorite band. And their behind each other rating wise, to me, as 10, 9.8, 9.75, 9.2. Edit: Sorry, Treeboy, I only waited five years for this album.

400 pages. We did it, guys. Climbed the whole mountain. I'm going to keep posting this until every single one of you owns it. Probably my album of the year, with the new Defeater and Counterparts holding a close second and third, respectively.
