    Theres definetly been a minor shift in tone, but thats something that I see in a lot of shows- as time progresses the writers are more willing to explore characters and the universe they live in.

    I'm a bit confused by the nature of what the wonderbolts are as a organisation. In Friendship is Magic, it is stated that they are the greatest flying team in equestria. This seems to imply that there are other flying teams, which is fine. But in Sweet and Elite, Rarity attends a wonderbolts derby, which is basically a horse race, but it features more than the 3 'main' wonderbolts, which seems to imply it's some sort of league. But then in Secret of my Excess they are shown to have some sort of military function, which is backed up by the episodes Wonderbolts Academy and Testing, Testing,123. There seems to be a big contradiction in between there appearances in my opinion, and I was wondering what other people thought about this.

    So, I was wondering what episodes did you show/or think of showing non bronies to show the show isn't just for little girls?

    personally, and I think I'm speaking for many people on here, these were the problems: It was kinda cliche Sunset Shimmer was a terrible villain. It was something we'd all seen in fanfics before. the mane 6 looked too much like dolls. It was something we'd all seen in fanfics before. (This problem is so bad, it's getting mentioned twice) And, of course: It feels like it's going against the spirit of the show. That last one is definetly the worst one. Also, the whole "pony" motif they were going for with the wearable tails and ears was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. Honestly, I don't think it would be so bad if they had just cut all connections to MLP and had it as a stand alone product as opposed to a spin off

    pretty much everyone in my class calls me by my last name, and it's always been like that. It was the same for my brother when he was in high school. and I've called almost everyone in my class by there first name at least once. I don't know why.

    It better not happen. If it does, I'm sure we could organize some sort of protest against hasbro. I'm not sure what they would do, but I'm sure there would be more than enough backlash to stop it.

    This is the Avatar I use on another forum (I'm still hoping for some old members to be on here). When I first joined, I found the very popular thread on it for bronies and that's how I got involved in the fandom. At the time Twilight Sparkle was my favorite pony, so I chose this avatar. I never bothered to change it, and I still like Twilight, so I figured I would use the same avatar and username when I joined here.

    Honestly, I don't even like shipping for this show. I don't know why, I'm fine with it in some other shows, none of which are cartoons, but there's something about shipping the characters in this show that I find unapealing. Probably because the show feels so innocent at least to me that the idea just turns me off.

    To be honest, I feel like some of the backround characters from EQG look better than the mane 6 (or I guess IT should be main 6, since there human). The main 6's designs look to strange to me. The one exception to this is twilight's, so I guess I pick her. I just wish she would wear a different outfit, though. The one she wears looks like something an anime character would wear.

    i just want to say that I think that twilight sparkle is once of the most underused of the mane 6, although not as much in season 4 since she became a princess, but otherwise I feel like she could be used more.

    There's just one problem with the sonic rainboom being the color of the pony's mane theory: If the color of the explosion depends on the color of the mane, It can't be called a sonic rainboom since usually the color wouldn't be a rainbow. Just saying.
