    I give up ;~; I just tried to show my little bro & one of my closer friends a Fighting is Magic video & tried to subtly hint that I thought it was cool... All they could focus on was the fact it was bloody MLP... I think I am just going to stay in my brony closet for... Well define "forever" and there you go

      I can't show them that, that is too obvious... I have done music, fanart (more action or just gorgeous stuff, depending on who I am showing it too), even had them talk to one of my brony friends... I nearly lost 2 friends on that last one...

      I understand, but if your family rejects you over ponies... that's pretty extreme man. Mine just accepted it outright, which surprised me. If you think it's going to cause a rift though don't reveal it. Losing people close to you over ponies isn't worth it. I know some folks would say they don't really care about you if a cartoon comes between you... but I wouldn't go that far unless you're willing to risk losing them.

      I don't know about rejection but... Well my family isn't very tight-knit, so to speak... Especially after I came out being an atheist... I don't want to risk being honest about anything else...
