Is it bad that head on staring at their faces it reminds me of a duck?

I tried to get one of my friends to watch the show and told her it was a great show. She said she would but never told me when she did or whatever. She doesn't care to even try looking at it. guess it's the new boyfriend.

Being bullied myself when I was younger, I can feel for Fluttershy and totally understand why she was acting the way she did. (I thought the animals cheering her up was SO cute!) Just like Inky Milk said, I believe both FS episodes have two different personalities and feelings FS has had to overcome and achieve. FS is my favorite pony for a reason, one because I can see myself being her. And I'm not trying to be mean at all whatsoever, but when you called her a "pansy" I kind of find it inappropriate because like someone else has said, this show is of course intended for a girl audience, especially younger girls who go through SO MANY personal identity and self-etseem issues every day. Calling the way she acted a pansy is totally wrong and mean.

One thing I've realized is that I'm very attracted (Not sexually, duh..) to the ponies and the show itself. I love all of their personalities and just love the show itself. I've always enjoyed Powerpuff girls, Fosters home for imaginary friends, and other shows. When I started watching this show, I didn't know Lauren Faust did all of these shows. And they all have a nice show atmosphere that you just don't see in cartoons anymore. MLP.. I love how innocent the show is and how great it is about the friendship lessons. (Except Applejack apparently doesn't learn anything, right? XD) I love how everypony in the group is totally different in style and it proves how ANYPONY can be friends with each other. I don't believe too much into stereotypes, but it's like how Rarity would be I guess considered the "popular" girl and let's just say Applejack is just "Full on country". For being Rarity, we all know she can't stand dirt. Applejack doesn't mind it at all. Yet they still can be really good friends. Fluttershy is the shy one and Rainbow Dash reminds me of tom boy and she loves to be outgoing and loud. They we're very good friends when they were fillies(spelled right? ) and they still are. Opposites attract maybe? I haven't really had really close friends in years and I guess you can say I wish I had what these ponies have. Plus, it just isn't stupid! The show itself, it's amazing how not-stupid it is. There isn't one cartoon that I could really watch much these days. (Maybe Regular show...) But that's it... I could say so much more but this is how I feel mostly.

I'm a female, so being open about this isn't too hard and difficult. (Feel bad for the Bronies who do have the challenge, though!) I probably get a lot of stares too since I'm 19. Went to the dollar store today to get the coloring/activity books for my collection and this one lady looked at me pretty weird since I was digging through the boxes to find them. I just don't care what people think. If you really have problems buying MLP merchandise and you want to ease up into at least making yourself, in person, get MLP merchandise, if you get a talkative cashier you could just say, "Yeah, getting this for my little sister" or something. Might be a tiny lie but it will help you overcome going to the toy aisle, grabbing the toy, and walking out of the store without a red face.
