Stocking, gosh I keep spelling it that way, my stupid self.... Ughhh....

Some stocking job are easier than other and some are harder, it all depends. A basic floor General Merchandise Clerk is fairly easy and straightforward in terms of knowing what to do but is physically very hard with all the heavy lifting involved. A HABA (Health and Beauty GM) is very very hard because they fill the cosmetic items and medications which are ridiculously small and packed very tightly on the shelves but it is not that hard on you physically.

Being a bread GM is easy once you get rotation down but is very tedious and labor intensive, bread is easily one of the fastest selling items in a store so you will have to fill and refill things ALOT. In some stores they have daytime GM's act as backup Service Deli and Meat Department workers as well which they do a lot in the company I work for.
