    So, I have a theory, and maybe I'm wrong about this but, I feel like part of the reason why the MLP fanbase is mostly men/guys is b/c of the fact that many guys are taught all their lives that it's not ok to like girly/cute things, and that they need to be "manly" and that MLP is kind of an outlet for them.....

      The whole thing about boys secretly wanting to have sex with their moms is kind of....weird....I mean boys DO NOT want to have sex with their mothers..... o.O

      There is a tiny little bit of truth to it, there have been studies that a lot men who have good relationships with their mothers will look for mates with some similar traits and same with a lot of women who have good relationships with their fathers. It is not the same as secretly wanting to do the nasty with mama though.
