The value of human dignity is widely undermined on this medium where people are reduced to two dimensional faces. Look at the hateful comments on Youtube, 4chan, and Facebook and watch the debasement unfold. Thankfully people here are not treated with hate most of the time. But the apathy here is evident, naturally.

Then again, I could always be proven wrong. My thoughts here are directed mainly towards circumstances in which the prospect of actually ever knowing the person tangibly is severely slim, in which cases I would deem a hopelessly lost cause.
