  1. Hello there! My name's Colton, I'm a huge MLP fan. I occupy my time with work and hobbies, which include but aren't limited to: Game Design, GMing Pen & Paper Games, Playing Video Games, Voice Chatting on Skype with Friends, Watching MLP FiM and Associated Fan-Works. Always feel free to drop me a line on Skype if you wanna talk or hang out, I love making new friends!

  2. How did you find MLP Forums?: Whilst doing some research about MLP FiM communities on the internet. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I watched an episode of it on Netflix when I was feeling down, next thing I knew, I was finished with the first season and feeling like a million bucks! Heyo everybody! My name is Colton, I'm 23, and live in Washington state. I became a fan of MLP FiM about 8 or so months ago, and have really been loving everything about it! I was a chronic sufferer of seasonal depression, and last winter gave me a run for my money, ending up as one of the worst depression spells I had ever dealt with. But upon finding MLP, I made a complete turnaround! It's made me into a very different person, and has been what I can only describe as a life-changing experience. I've seen a lot of stuff that comes out of the community surrounding the show, and it's simply fantastic! I've been doing my best to keep up with it all, like the music, animations, artwork, and fictions. I've also heard that the people around it are extremely awesome and welcoming, and I have seen evidence of this over and over again. I know that MLP fans are some of the most open and welcoming people out there, but even so, I've always been a tad nervous about approaching any related groups or hangouts, as I'm extremely self aware, and perhaps a little on the shy side. Just recently, I lost a good number of my friends for complicated reasons. Part of it had to do with my taking a liking to MLP, which hurt, as it's a big part of my life now. It was very painful, some of these friends were people that I literally grew up with, and spent most of my free time talking to or hanging out around. But over the months, I've come to start viewing things differently and with a much more positive light! I've decided to take it into my own two hands and pursue meeting new people, and trying to make new friends, something I literally haven't even attempted to do in a decade or more (am I doing it right?) After doing some research about different forums and avenues with which to come into contact with like-minded people, I stumbled across this one, given the information that it was one of the best and most inviting MLP related forums out there. I'm looking to find people, or maybe a group, with which to hang out, do things with (video games, pen and paper games, interesting discussions, general chatting, any of the above!) I use Skype for my chatting and voice conferencing. If anyone wants to, drop me a line on Skype so that we can get in contact! You can find me under: disk.jocky.eva I also have a Steam account that I use for most of my gaming. As for my interests and hobbies, I play a number of video games in my spare time of varying genres. I enjoy art and music. I love playing, creating, and GMing pen and paper games! I love general discussion and such, simply hanging out can be great fun with friends! And, of course, I am a huge fan of MLP FiM! As for work, I'm the lead on a small Indie game team, working as both general dev and project manager. Game development is sort of my dream job! Thank you for putting up with me. I hope I get a chance to talk to some of you soon!
