Find a way of using it on a daily basis. Whether it be watching movies, talking with people or even (!) playing games. It's a slow way, but it works. Constant exposure to the language makes you learn it whether you want it or not. After all, dozens of people travel abroad in search for work and even though they know not a single word, they return after 3 months, speaking it quite fluently on a basic level without greater effort.
