      As far as I know it isn't required, though that may depend on the bank itself. I started working in the summers & holidays in 2005 while I was in college. After that, I went full time after I graduated in '08.

      oh so you've been working there for a while then? I guess that makes sense, it seems, around here at least, that everyone who's worked at a bank has worked there for as long as I can remember.

      Most of those who I work with have been here a while as well; though we've got some new blood in the tellers. Really, I think banks are mostly open to anyone, though I would say the upper positions like mortgage loan officers MIGHT require a degree...but then again, our small bank here doesn't, so it might vary.
