    I can't help but think that my most used phrase in pony discussion threads is "if you count the comics as canon."

      Thats because the comics get away with stuff the show can't. If the show could do that, the fandom would certainly be even bigger than it already is XD

      Especially the Princesses. Celestia has a rather bizarre "high valley school girl" kind of personality to her while Luna (unlike the show version) gives no fucks about changing her ways and still likes being "old school" about who she does things. Celestia also banned her from drinking coffee. XD
