  3. Augh, I'd love to see a new episode with him in it, but I'm largely satisfied with what we have. Along with the episode, he is a central character in the Reflections arc of the comics, has a small but of backstory in one of the Friends Forever comics, and he has quite a few GREAT fan works; including my ultimate fave:
  4. My goodness the flow of Sombra pictures have been rather slow in recent months. Time for some new material!
  5. Well, basically shows like Transformers and GI Joe. I honestly thought they were boring as dirt.
  6. Donated my part. For the sake of the kids and the love of this community. <3
  7. I know, and it always kinda hurts to think back on that. When I saw Atlantis in theaters, it was down right MAGICAL. That movie literally blew me away and I still count it as my favorite animated movie overall. I was a bit underwhelmed by Shrek and, I will confess, I've been kinda bitter with the Shrek franchise sense. Yes it's unfair, but...ugh. To be fair, I won't say I hate the Shrek films as they're enjoyable, just...not much more. I can understand that, and that's especially with true considering Kida looks much different from rest of the pincess brigade, but I guess my definition of cute (Mulan aside <3) might be slightly different from the Disney target base. XD Yah know, you bring up a good point. Funny thing is that I generally enjoyed a number of the films from that era (Atlantis, Emperor's New Groove, Treasure Planet, Lilo & Stitch), though I will agree on some (Brother Bear, Home on the Range, Chicken Little). Of course what matters is the general box office, and that was a period in which Disney struggled. Hrad to blame them for their actions in regards to Pixar and all, so...yeah. It is what it is.
  8. Quit trying to weasel out of this! If you singing is what the public wants; it's what they will get. You...you...weasel. :comeatus:
  9. Like you I'm a big King Sombra fan. Saying that, we're never really given much info on him, but I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. 1. Like what happened in his past? -Simple answer is that we just don't know. Anything you read is for the most part speculation and headcanon. We really don't even get much hints about his past in the comics. We know he was VERY good at setting up traps & all, but as for the time before his reign; nothing. 2. Did he face off with the Crystal Empire before? -Again, we have no information. It's possible he rose within the ranks of the Crystal Empire society, or he could've been an invader. 3. Where has he been for the last 1000 years? -He was locked away in the frozen north under ice; banished by the royal sisters. That much we do know, lol. 4. Why did Celestia send the Mane 6 to deal with a King without some kind of help? -To be fair, she had sent Cadence & Shining Armor there first, so it's not like help wasn't already there. Bad thing is that Shining Armor was incapacitated and Cadence was putting all of her effort into the shield. As for the Mane 6 themselves, it's fair to say that Celestia had faith enough to trust them. They have already shown enough to at least handle an entire army of Changelings for a while, and if Twilight was to grow in her destiny (considering that was the theme of season 3 anyway), Celestia had to do that anyway. 5. Shouldn't they get a medal or something after taking down a ancient King? -Maybe, but it's possible they got some sort of recognition off screen. 6. But over everything I wanna know King Sombra's back story and where he came from. -As much as I would like to know this as well, I doubt we'll be getting much from Hasbro/DHX on that front. It's well known that Sombra is not that popular of a villain, and I don't see much impetus from the animators or writers to bring him back. Sombra is my favorite villain in the show as well; however it might be good that we don't have a solid backstory on him. Part of his charm for me is that we don't know much about him which leaves plenty to the imagination. I also loved his AU version in the comics, and that might provide some clues on the Sombra we know and love; I suppose.
  10. I started Shadow of Mordor, but haven't played it consistently yet. It's a fun game, but for some reason it just hasn't clicked with me yet. I also started playing Persona 4: Golden on the Vita. Loving it thus far. <3
  11. 1. Princess Rosalina -The princesses from the Mario franchinse never really caught my attention, but Rosalina immediately had my eyes. Her beauty aside, she is the one who, IMO, has the right balance of elegance, bravery, and general kick-assness that puts her on a level above Peach & Daisy. Not to mention she's like the wise sage as well. 2. Princess Zelda -I really can't say much here as I haven't played much of the Zelda series, but I like her. 3. Kida (Atlantis: The Lost Empire) -Wasn't close-minded like her father, could handle a group of WWI-era mercenaries, thought of her people first; what's not to love? Oh yeah, SHE'S NEVER COUNTED AMONG THE DISNEY PRINCESSES!! Seriously Disney, quit ignoring this film. 4. Jasmine -I really wasn't infatuated with her looks; she just seemed like a cool, kick-butt lady. Always had a soft spot for her. 5. Belle -I didn't really care for her much as a kid, but now-a-days, I appreciate her love of literature and her dreams of something bigger.
  12. What I bolded can't be said enough. This is a good chance to at least tell those who may not be familiar with the situation what had happened. It's fine to have an opinion on it, but let's be thoughtful and calm. But yeah, my thoughts pretty much echo Jeric's here. I'll be honest in saying that I followed the blog and even found it funny from time to time, but I can understand why Hasbro may have wanted it taken down, and I can understand why some fans may not have appreciated the NSFW nature of said blog. In the end, the point is that Celestia is a property of Hasbro, and if they feel that certain depiction of their character from an outside outside clashes with how they feel she should be, then they have every right to request it's closure. PinkiePony, IIRC, got a lot of hate from certain segments of the fandom, which is a bit unfair. I do remember plenty of people laying the blame on her. In the end, at least the artist tried something else, so we still get art from him.
  13. I love fruits in general, but the lemon is my special fruit. I just love sour things, and the lemon is just...awesome. <3 The lime, or is that too similar to the lemon?
  14. I think I'd prefer to be a elf. Long life or immortality aside, they have a certain understanding of magic, have great agility, are light on their feet, and, most importantly for me, are great scholars. The amount of knowledge they have accumulated (depending on which elf versions we're speaking of) is the stuff of legends. Aside from that, dragons & dwarves also sound good...maybe wizards too.
  15. Destiny. Raise this barn. Come on guys; let's do this! :comeatus:
  16. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls: Ultimate Evil Edition for the PS4. I played as the male wizard who, IMO, has one of the most badass voices I've ever heard in a game. Overall, that game was EXTREMELY fun, if maybe repetitive. In time I plan on replaying it as a witch doctor. That class looks so fun.
  17. So...Dark Souls II for Xbox One & PS2 with DLC in April? SIGN ME UP!!!!

  18. Well, the exact reason would vary from person-to-person. For a lot, it's as simple as "because it's fun." In truth, you probably don't need a deeper explanation. As for me...it does go a little deeper, and it's because I just happen to identify with FiM and other franchises. I like Persona 4, and I love the Uncharted series. I don't identify with Persona 4 THAT much (playing through the Vita version), but Uncharted is another story. As such, someone like me tends to envision our favorite characters as ponies. In truth, I also love to see artist interpretations of stuff like that. In the end, that might not have been as deep as I lead you onto believe, but it is what it is.
  19. I honestly never considered that one. I saw that scene so many times as a kid that it never affected like that. Now that I think about it in my adult years, it's actually kinda chilling. O_O Also, this guy from Little Nemo scared the absolute crap out of me.
  20. As this topic doesn't have much to do with the show itself and is venturing into crossover territory, I'll be moving this to Sugarcube Corner. Thank you, and have a good day.
  21. Considering that we have multiple discussions concerning this topic, I'll go ahead and lock it. I'll provide a link to a few different discussions in regards to her parents. Please remember to use the search function in the future. Just a tip; the keywords 'applejack' and 'parent' helped me. Thank you and have a good day. http://mlpforums.com/topic/2564-why-havent-applejacks-parents-been-shown/ http://mlpforums.com/topic/84776-applejack-parents-where-are-they/ http://mlpforums.com/topic/98469-parent-episode http://mlpforums.com/topic/100720-who-is-the-legal-guardian-of-applejack-and-applebloom/
  22. I was a fan back in the day, maybe from 1997 to 2000 or 2001; something like that! At the time, my favorites were Kane and X-Pac. As my tastes have changed, I find myself watching matches involving Steve Blackman and the Acolytes (Faarooq & Bradshaw). To me, they were no-nonsense machines of destruction. Blackman's reign as Hardcare champion was especially fun.
  23. Upper Respiratory Infection. I won't complain; could've been worse.:)

  24. That is something that Mark is ALWAYS good for. He usually posts a thank you video every once in a while. It's one reason why I follow him. Aside from being funny and a general sweetheart, he has quite the heart of gold does what he can to thank his fans.
  25. Still waiting for that Funko Luna vinyl o be available. Once it does, AUTOMATIC PURCHASE. <3
