  1. Gotta admit, Chrysalis just has that elegance about her.
  2. Well, if you want adventure, it's hard to argue against the Uncharted games. =D Also, games like Skyrim, Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, and the like have GREAT adventure music to it. And let's not forget the granddaddy of them all: Indiana Jones.
  3. Sapphire Shores is now officially a favorite pony now. I didn't think too much of her first appearance, but after watching that scene again, she's awesome, IMO. XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRu99sdehbg

I like those qualities! They make for an interesting character!

Indeed. I liked what Silver Quill said about in "As the Sweetie Belle Tolls" in that she was given a ton of characterization in a short amount of time. The Pony of Pop shall rule! XD

  4. Ah, some good ole Streetlight Manifesto. <3

  5. I'm not really a fan of the series, but I have find memories of playing GTA II. Honestly, that top-down perspective just made the game so entertaining and downright hilarious. XD I just wish I could find that game for OSX...
  6. Ehhh, while I had friends back in my school days, I never really retained them. Even during that time I never really hung out with people as I never really understood the concept. I guess that's why I don't really have any real life friends with whom I can share interests. Granted, part of that is also simple geography and movement, but part of it is also my fault. However, I tend to make friends much easier online, and I'm trying to make a better effort at making friends here, if you will.
  7. And that's a fair opinion. If it's not your thing, then it's not your thing. Period. Just as long as you form that belief on your own and not rely on a potentially manipulative source.
  8. To me, that looks like sensationalist propaganda essentially made to scare people into believing their crap. Honestly, if you believe it applies to you, then more power to yah, but anything saying "Get The Facts" usually signals a red flag for me.
  9. I wouldn't say she was right or wrong from my standpoint. I can't blame her for her motives and I can't blame the ponies for defending themselves. Just nature; pretty much.
  10. Well, I'm not as hairy as the OP, but I had a fair amount. However, sometimes I think I have too much and can feel somewhat sensitive about it. I dunno. It is what it is I suppose.
  11. No. Personally, I find revenge to be pointless and a waste of energy. Honestly, her idea of revenge wouldn't have helped her goal of feeding her subjects all that much. It was purely selfish.
  12. There is a line though between doing good for your subjects, and essentially enjoying the misery you're putting on the ponies of Canterlot. I mean, she is essentially reveling in it. She's no different in the comics either; and even shows a somewhat more brutal side. While Chrysalis' motive in the series is understandable, she takes it a bit too far. Add to her seeking revenge in the comics, then I'd definitely call her evil.
  13. Well, it's neither good or bad. It is what it is...nothing more, nothing less. The only really thing that's bad would likely be how society and people can treat people who have a interest in something like R34. I mean, I have seen people who have and interest or fetish for it get treated well...like dirt; honestly. I understand why people wouldn't like it, and it's not something for the younger viewers, and for a show like MLP that can tend to make things difficult. I mean, it is REALLY easy to find R34 pictures in Google search when I'm looking for something that's innocent, epic, or what ever. People will like what they like, and just because they like it shouldn't mean that they're bad, awkward, or social rejects. However, there does need to be a line considering how easy it is to find this stuff. I doubt Hasbro wants bad press from a kid becoming emotionally scared because he found a really suggestive picture. Again, I won't say it's bad. I mean, it isn't a bad thing in itself, but it shouldn't be as easy to access as it should be; I guess. I know Google has methods to block content, but it's a little flawed when it ends up blocking otherwise okay pictures. *Shrugs.*
  14. Random sharing of favorite scene time: from season 1 of Code Geass

  15. That's a question for which we would never have an answer for. I mean, if there was no pony, then I'd probably be gaming more. I mean, yeah I love MLP and can't see myself really getting into another fandom like I have FiM, but I doubt it would make THAT much of a difference. On the other hand I have met plenty of great people here, so...I dunno. Again, it's an answer we will likely never know.
  16. Well, all I can say that is that while school isn't perfect (and this is true especially in rural areas like where I live), you go through schooling for a reason. We're meant to engage ourselves in various practices to ready ourselves for what we may choose to become. While I certainly didn't appreciate all the classes I had in high school & below and SOME things were pure busy work, it did help to prepare me for college at least. I can't say much as I'm not a teacher, but I don't have much qualms with schooling now that I am older.
  17. Goal for tomorrow: Get back to gaming, PLAY Skylanders! Spyro calls for me!

  18. Honestly, that games looks freakin awesome. Considering my favorite game of all time is Spyro the Dragon, I think I know how you feel. XD
  19. Watching Jurassic Park, and it's amazing how well this movie has aged. Wow.

  20. Honestly, when I first heard the dubbing for One Piece, that was by FAR one of the worst things my ears had heard. Now, I have got used to some characters, but still...those early episodes. Oh yeah, Zelda Cdi games...ewwww....
  21. Honestly...I can't think of a single game. I mean, I feel like I can play Spyro, Skylanders, Dark Souls, GTA, Bioshock, or whatever...and not feel shame. Then again...I dunno. I'm really the only gamer my age in this area, I think, so most people I know just don't understand video games and the like.
  22. I used to be a bigger anime fan than I am now-a-days. I guess I burnt myself out. *Shrugs.* I will say that I still love Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion to death. That anime I can watch over and over and it NEVER gets boring. I also love Record of Lodoss War, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Escaflowne, Digimon, DBZ, Sailor Moon, Outlaw Star, and maybe some others...
  23. Well, for me, no. Some shows like Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go, Blazing Dragons, and Justice League come close, but FiM just appeals to me in a deeper sense than any other animated show. That also includes my favorite anime Code Geass.
  24. Well, not counting the comics which I own digitally thanks to iBooks, the only bit of merchandise that I have are two hardcover books: The Journal of the Two Sisters and The Elements of Harmony. So...books. :3
  25. I feel like I was one of the few who really enjoyed this episode when it first aired; though I have to wonder if that is because I'm a big Indiana Jones fan. XD It doesn't help that one of my pony OC's is basically inspired from Indy. What I liked: 1. Daring Do - She was just AWESOME. Granted she was a bit stubborn and hateful, but I could hardly blame her. 2. Ahuizotl - He is SOOOO entertaining as a villain; and he's probably the most dangerous villain outside of NMM, Discord, Chrysalis, Sombra, & Tirek. I mean if he was correct about that prophecy...well, a good portion of Equestria would've been in trouble. Not to mention he is just SO fun. XD 3. Dr. Caballeron - So basically we have Belloc in pony form? *Squee* 4. The action, but that goes without saying. 5. Humor - The chemistry between Daring & Ahuizotl during that fight was priceless. XD Plus, Dashie had some good moments to. 6. The moral - Easily the strongest aspect, and one that I can identify with a great deal. Overall, LOVED it!
