  1. Well, just finished helping mom bathe the dogs, and I cleaned up the kitchen while she did something else. Guess I'd make a good house-husband. XD

  2. My first old school experience that I can remember was the NES. Ah, good ole memories playing Mario, Duck Hunt, Snoopy Olympics, Captain Skyhawk, Solar Jetman, etc., <3 As far as I am DAMN WELL CONCERNED, Solar Jetman is the hardest game EVER!
  3. Well, my favorite for the NES was Captain Skyhawk, and for the SNES it would be Super Mario World*. *I only own like...5 or 6 SNES games anyway.
  4. To be fair, the Journal implies that the sisters are not immortal; they just age much differently from the other pony races.
  5. Well, she might've been destined for greatness, but Sunset Shimmer was supposedly destined to be as well. Celestia had a plan for Twilight and wanted to makes sure she didn't suffer the same mistakes that both Star Swirl & Sunset made. Twilight, for all of her faults, has a fairly cool head on her shoulders and is open to other people helping her. Honestly though, if she royally screwed up ala Sunset, Celestia would likely find another protege eventually.
  6. I honestly think Flash receives too much hate. I mean yeah he isn't the most interesting character by far, but I prefer him over the like of Snips & Snails easily. Honestly, all characters have some sort of potential. It's just up to the writers if they want to do anything with him.
  7. This reminds me of a passage from the "Journal of the Two Sisters." It had mentioned that Star Swirl and other unicorns were raising and lowering the sun & moon long before Celestia and Luna were given the job. Well, as time went on after the coronation of the sisters, it is revealed that as the group of unicorns raised & lowered the celestial bodies they also gradually lost their power until they eventually were exhausted of their magic. When Celestia and Luna took control of the sun & moon, it was found that their power steadily increased. They even restored the magic back to Star Swirl and the other unicorns. So I think it is safe to say that alicorn magic is somewhat different from unicorn magic.
  8. Well, I'd love to see more of Twilight & Shining's parents. They're the parents of a prince & princess; I would love to see how they deal with that bit of knowledge. XD
  9. Well, considering sports fans are considered normal even when they adorn their entire house with merchandise of their favorite team, player, or driver (if they follow racing), I would have to say you're quite normal.
  10. I would likely keep my clothes on; mainly because of things like weather and alien environments where humans never really evolved in.
  11. Well, Equestria would be a top choice, but I would also seriously consider the Dragon Kingdom & Avalar of the classic Spyro games; and maybe even Tamriel of Elder Scrolls fame.
  12. Ehhh, the video is okay. I mean, shock value aside, there really isn't much there to admire. Yeah, the animation is great and the "SMILE" remix is good, but honestly...the video is kinda meh. Well, outside of Fluttershy's part. That was awesome. XD
  13. If people really hate bronies like that, then they have WAY too much time on their hands. Honestly, it's not all hate; a lot of it is just trolling for attention. However, there are some legit haters out there...and, just let 'em hate. We'll love what we love; regardless of who 'hates' it. For as high as the pegasi flies, we'll just keep on rolling. As for the haters...well, they only have on option.
  14. That really sounds great to me, though it really makes me wonder about some things in the book like the Zebra nation being on the other side of the Everfree. I'm not exactly sure what that means; though considering time the Everfree was probably MUCH larger than it is today. Still, thanks for sharing.
  15. Excellent news! Nice to see companies being somewhat open-minded at least. So, can we finally drop these ridiculous stories of Hasbro being an evil, soulless corporation?
  16. As a kid, I never would've thought that denied loans require a similar amount of paperwork and effort as booked loans. Yeesh.

  17. Always remember to keep your finances in check. If you tight on money or your credit needs improving, don't waste it on things like ATVs & such. Build or rebuild your credit over time; it'll make things simpler in the long run.

  18. Most disturbing for me would probably be from A Canterlot Wedding. Honestly, that ending scene from part 1 sent shivers up my spine. What a way to end an episode.
  19. 1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 2. Shadow of the Colossus 3. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 4. The Witcher 2: Assasins of Kings 5. Dragon Age: Origins
  20. I tend to view 'one thousand years' as more of a general time scale than a specific point in history. While I can see both banishments happening somewhat close, I tend to think of this 'thousand years ago' as a chaotic time in Equestrian history.
  21. Well, if we're talking about Changeling society, I tend to view the so-called "Changeling Kingdom" as less of a hive than and more of a tyrannical society built around the idea of species supremacy over all others; especially ponies. Probably not THAT different from Nazi Germany, though many not as extreme. At a young age, most are drafted into the military service, are drilled into the basics of military function, and as time goes on they slowly lose their individuality and become much more monstrous. As for their changing ability...I would think that it is based off of sight and sound; so therefore, they can easily transform into someone else, minus their personality.
  22. Well, for something action, I'd go with Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! The title sounds silly, but there is one hell of a show behind it. For some good humor, I'd go with the Monty Python-esque touching of Blazing Dragons and the slapstick-laden Angry Beavers.
  23. Well, aside from browsing these forums and spending too much time on the internet...I'm just trying to figure out what to do in the first place.
  24. I have little to no reason to believe in them. I mean, outside of my mind playing tricks on me, I haven't seen or heard anything out of the ordinary.
  25. Well, it wasn't terrible by any means, but it definitely wasn't at the heights of the TV show proper or even the height of the IDW comics. As it stands, I find Equestria Girls to be above average. I'd rate it...6.5 or 7 out of 10. Things I liked: animation, songs, musical score, a competent villain in Sunset Shimmer, a good beginning Things I didn't care for: high school setting, multi-colored humans, the introduction of some of the Mane 6 felt rushed, snips & snails
