    Too much damn grass around the house. Takes at least two hours to get it mowed; usually more. Leaves little free time during the summer.

    Word for word; pretty much me. I remember back in my teens people mistook me for someone in their 20s and it's like...stahp. Granted I am in my 30s and I have gray in my hair and facial hair and...yah.

    Sadly I tend to skip breakfast outside of weekends and days off. For most work days I don't eat until usually noon or 1pm; the latter of which I did today.

    Different things can, and sometimes it depends on how feel aside from the stress. For instance; various forms of classical music can help to alleviate stress, but it depends on the type of piece AND the type of stress I feel. Like, if I am feeling angry or upset, something akin to the Rite of Spring, the Turangalila Symphony, or the Damnation of Faust can help, but if my stress is related to sadness, then pieces like Mahler's 9th Symphony and Berlioz's Requiem are more appropriate. Aside from that; sometimes just being isolated in a quiet room can do wonders!

    Typically yee, but admittedly it’s been years since I Last been in one. Last time was…2008 when I used to work in the college library for work-study and god, loved every minute of it. ^^

    Keeping the context to myself, but just feeling a yearning that I never really felt much in years past. Making me feel...a tad melancholy. Just one of those things.

    Mahler: Symphony No. 9; as conducted by Herbert von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic.

    Transcendental. That is the word I would use to describe both the symphony itself, and Karajan's interpretation with Berlin. It's been pretty typical that any piece of classical music that I listen to for the first time needs a few listens to really understand and 'get' the music. Not this one; it really struck me. It really feels like Mahler knew his end was coming soon and this feels like the result. Likewise; Karajan & Berlin just "get it." And this is a live recording; that makes it even more amazing.

    My sympathies @Envy; I can relate in a way. As for me; well, heath issues have hit me quite hard, especially after my father passed in 2019. I've had a blood clot (which is still there, only calcified) which has left me on blood thinners permanently AND with visible trauma in that respective leg. I've also had three successive kidney stones and, more recently, have discovered arthritis is creeping into my lower back AND I have spinal stenosis, which can be extremely painful and fairly debilitating with no pain meds. Ugh. That said, never thought I would have the group of amazing friends that I currently had, and am thankful to have known love here. <3

    Personally? I would love to be a dragon in the Spyro the Dragon universe; classic/reignited games to be precise! I would love to be a magic crafter; living amongst the snow-capped mountains practicing and perfecting my craft while flying over the gorgeous vistas. There's nothing better than to be at piece in such an environment!
