I am horrible at small talk IRL. I just stand there and take everything as literal and analytical as possible, and in turn create bluntly honest answers. And then I don't ask them anything back, because I have no clue what to say. Them: "How was your summer?" Me: "Good." *Thinking to myself: if they wanted more they should have asked "what did you do" and not "how was" this summer*

Thanks for the comments guys. I was at a wedding last night around a bunch of my boyfriends acquaintances who I don't know very well. In Nebraska they always want to small talk about football. Everyone was like, "what's the score of the game?" And I was just like OMG IDK I DO NOT WATCH SPORTSSSSS. It was awkward. Once everyone had a couple beers though, the night got much easier XD
