Sliced sweet potatoes, grilled onions and cheese. Lots and lots of cheese.

Mine is mostly computer programming, coding and math. You know, software development. If i trapped everyone in the matrix, i might have done something meaningful. The power of software is only as great as the hardware running it.

general Your take on Life, The Universe, and Everything Else.
Invincible replied to Xylosian's topic in General Discussion
Mine is basically; All matter in the universe interacts with itself. Some clumped together and deluded itself into thinking there has to be meaning to everything. -

Yeah, either that or i have dietery issues to go with that. But i asked around, my uncle is a doctor and he says that rapid metabolism slows down when you age, and indeed starts contributing to weight gain. My metabolism is fast, and I'm 25 - still somewhat skinny despite eating like a pig.

I do. I'm seeing her for just about a year and a half now. She means the world to me.

general Do you often feel yourself being socially awesome?
Invincible posted a topic in General Discussion
I'll be honest here; i dislike dialogue with other people and will often avoid it like the plague. However, i seem to have 'trained' myself into making swift and smooth social deliveries whenever I'm forced into the role during work time or otherwise. I think i somehow made my co-workers think I'm very social and friendly. I don't like being alone at all, in fact nothing could be further from the truth, but I'm not by any means a social butterfly and in fact perfer smaller crowds with quieter interactions. What about you? Do you keep to yourself, or prefer the spotlights? -
Pronouncing words differently to others
Invincible replied to Member Berry's topic in General Discussion
I'm Israeli, most of our pronouncing is accomplished via hand gestures and poorly executed metaphors. When asked to properly pronounce something, we're more likely to botch it most of the time, though when speaking another language i subtly tend imitate the accent of my crowd. How well i perform this is to be debated. -
I got a tough bodily consistency and a quick metabolism, so eating greasy junk, drinking lots of soda, loafing around doesn't tax me at all. I'm slightly underweight, but otherwise my body seems to be taking care of itself just fine. What's more is that I'm almost 26 and this doesn't seem to be showing signs of changing anytime soon. When it does - i'll start caring.

I suppose people are trying to drive a point through personal experience.

Shopping screw ups with expiration dates?
Invincible replied to ManaMinori's topic in General Discussion
I once bought a can of doc. Pepper that was about a week past expiration. I saw the date only some time later. I drank it anyway; my stomach can hold almost anything so a little expired soda wasn't the end of me. -
The end of my existence. Not just death, but that nothing will be left of me, no ideas, stories or anything significant of any kind. Im terrified of being completely gone forever. Disease and toxins, too. Permanently weakened by a crippling poison or a disease is something that scares me, as i always valued my faculties as a human being.

Who is your favorite person of history?
Invincible replied to Aeros Sine's topic in General Discussion
Some of my favorite historic figures have been named above, but i'll throw in my two cents anyway; 1) Miyamoto Musashi. A great strategist and swordsman, winning his first duel in the age of 13, since then winning every duel (obviously, since duels would be determined by death back then) with a surviving discipline and powerful art combining practical martial knowledge and philosophy. One of his works in particular, the book of five rings, a text attribute to him on kenjutsu (swordsmanship), is considered a great martial masterpiece to this day. 2) Nikola Tesla, A true man of science who devoted his entire life to his works, considered by many a deranged lunatic by the time he was old. His works on electromagnetism and innovations paved the way for modern electronic appliances, most notably is his contribution of inventing the AC (alternating current) delivery of power method. 3) Alan Turing, You may know this name from the movie featuring Benedict Cumberbatch portraying him, but either way this misunderstood genius is considered among the founding fathers of computer science. One of the most renowned modern models for representing the algorithmic approach to solvable problems (the Turing Machine) is named after him. -
Have you seen the light of your hypothetical cutie mark?
Invincible replied to ManaMinori's topic in General Discussion
I understand who I'm meant to be for a while now and have been in pursuit of my ambitions for that time. Though I do feel that disappointed at some of the things I had to do to get this far, I'm working hard to achieve my goals my own way. -
Komodo dragons. A friend and i joked about a zombie apocalypse scenario like the one in I am Legend, where it basically affects mammals. We said, "instead of dogs, we'd train komodo dragons to fight zombies," then imagined how setting those loose they'd immidiately turn around, bite us in the face and run away. Now we can't think of Komodo dragons anymore without laughing lol

Eh, i don't care either way. I don't think any differently of a person if they have something pricey on or a fake replica. If it looks cool, then hey, enjoy it. I used to wear a cheap chain bracelet i found at a flea market once. But it got discolored and started rusting after a while so i got rid of it. Don't own other pieces now.

Rarely. The only thing i tend to consume during nighttime is a glass of water if im feeling dry.

Alicorns are not born.. "in equestria"
Invincible replied to Chronamut's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I inferred that, from the way the explanation was carried out, Alicorns are never born in utero. At least the way i see it, Celestia would have Twilight believe that Alicornhood comes along with the title as something earnes, which is why she seemed so surprised. At least, that goes against her belief.- 48 replies

She worked hard enough, I say she earned her shot at being in the wonder-bolts. Seeing her strive for it season after season will eventually run dry.

I believe in life on other worlds. Though i never saw any hard evidence of said life finding it's way here to see us.

general Does anyone shop at Goodwill?
Invincible replied to ManaMinori's topic in General Discussion
Dont mean to sound insensitive but the only weight change im experiencing is loss (i have a problem). Sometimes clothing feels baggy, so there's that i suppose. -
general Does anyone shop at Goodwill?
Invincible replied to ManaMinori's topic in General Discussion
I don't often buy new clothes, but when i do i go and get new ones rather than donated ones, probably just because i'm paranoid of why throw clothing away anyway. -
My personal preference? Dinner. I'm a busy worker at mornings and i don't eat well at lunch. Dinner's the only meal which i can eat and be fully content with.

Anime, but only when i try to be specific. Cartoon is basically just a more broader term.

I have a couple of tickets for the movie i took my girlfriend on our first date. Discolored and tattered, you can still see the info on them. I usually dont keep sentimental keepsakes, but these stood out to me. As for memories... Sure you would know of where you went and where, but sometimes i guess it's just easier for some to remember if they have something to go with that memory.
