  1. I guess i used to be happier. Ignornace is bliss they say. The more i observed the world around me, understood society better, i became cynical and dissatisfied. I used to trust people alot more easily than what i do now, but that's just how i turned out to be. Can't say i'm entirely happy, but being me has it's perks.
  2. That's actually a pragmatic form of thinking.
  3. I personally prefer a lady with no body hair, so yeah. Though don't get me wrong, while it's my preference, i think that should be a choice rather than a standard.
  4. I ate a rabbit once. It was delicious.
  5. I took a robotics class last year. I can tell this much; with current hardware, fully self taught robots are still but a work in progress. Current AI is pretty impressive but it has many limitations. Even so, I'm not worried too much. A robot design to mimic a human will have a decisive flaw - it's humanity.
  6. Most are immature, hormone-ridden know-it-alls. I say this because i used to be one. That isn't to say this is true to all, there are exceptions in everything. 7. Well, it's not really a paper, but I once had an art project due in 5th grade. Now, i procrastinated. Hard. So much that i totally forgot i had an assignment due the following day when i figured out it's due. It involved using a newspaper to recover a photo and... change it in some way. I did the stupidest, most half-assed worked ever, too; I just cut a photo of some politicians arguing (one of them was raising their hand in exclamation). I just drew a mask on their face and a gun in their hands and bam - sharp-dressed bank robbers! ...It was a lame job, but i got a 90 (that's around an A- i think?) for it. Go figure.
  8. What people think of you has a tremendous impact over your life, whether you like it or not. That said, it matters who said people are. If it's a random face which i won't run into, ever, sure, whatever. They are as meaningless to me as i am to them. If it's a co-worker, a friend, or someone from my college, well, yes - i would say it's important to make a good impression for various of reasons.
  9. Wingdings font. I'm wacky like that. Also I tend to come off as misunderstood sometimes.
  10. I wear sunglasses at 6 am in the morning when i go to work. It's still dark outside, but i do this to prevent the slowly-rising sun from entering my eyes
  11. I came to work so tired once that when i entered the bathroom i tried to lock the door with my house keys. It doesn't even have a keyhole, lol
  12. I don't get angry - i get motivated. Iv'e adopted a policy, saying that every problem and issue in my life is a challenge to check. If, or when i feel angered, i dumb it down and use it to motivate myself into fixing my problems. Being angry is useless, why not do something about your problems?
  13. Well, i tend to surround myself with friends and we do the gym-buddy tactic; when one of you wants to quit, the others push him forward. Other than that i basically just go over all the materials from top to bottom and make sure to get my hands on exam files from the same subject. I use these files as practice dummies in order to get a better understanding of what types of questions i might be asked to answer. Eat right. Have plenty of rest and don't play too much on the computer, watch TV etc. Keep your mind as clean and as focused as possible. You would wish to use every quantum of energy and focus for the exam.
  14. Knights. Honor or lack thereof, blind loyalty is a weakness in my opinion.
  15. I have ADHD. I don't struggle with my illness; I have mastered and conquered it. For years now, I have used self-feedback, meditation and lots of practice in order to remain focused and control my abnormal levels of energy. Turns out that I'm more productive than ever; I achieve great results in school, and impress my peers and superiors at work by focusing myself and fuelling my ambitions with a little bit of mental effort.
  16. I'm 25, and I have an on/off guilty-pleasure feelings towards the show. I'll readily admit I watch it, but I don't necessarily show that I do. I got into MLP after reading FO:E (fantastic fanfic by the way), and it's a great show. It's not as widespread here unless we're counting geeks who are versed in internet culture because the show isn't aired on local TV, so people looking into me might be rubbed off the wrong way, i guess?
  17. It's nothing special yet. We've seen thought-guided equipment before. Like it or not, as far science is concerned your brains are just electricity and chemistry which shoots out signals. Capture the signals and you have usable input for electronics. But this technology is still in it's infancy, and lots of delicate equipment that still hasnt been thoroughly perfected is difficult to produce and is overpriced. Only once we have a cheap manufacturing process and reliable components will we be able to use this technology in good capacity.
  18. The idea is preposterous! If it ever happened in today's day and age (never-mind the technological inability to do so), someone would recreate the internet. There's just too much benefit in having it around. There are signs however, that the old internet is slowly fading away. Oh, it will still be there, just... insignificant. Slowly but surely, we're heading towards complete networking - the internet of things. When there's network in your shoelaces - then you can say what we know as the "internet" has finally died.
  19. I'm not the greatest fan, but If i had to choose i'd say a raven. They're very smart and sociable.
  20. Never surrender. As long as a quantum of hope exists, you must find the fire in your heart and push through. Iv'e survived many failures along the way, breakups, came close to death a couple of times, even had a bout with cancer once. And you know what? Iv'e persevered and overcame every single obstacle before me. I not particularly strong, handsome or smart. I just owe it all to my to my indomitable will. Whatever happens, never forget that as long as you refuse to break you may surprise yourself with what you can achieve.
  21. The worst i came across was seeing urine, semen, feces and other mysterious liquids all smeared across the floor. Some of the walls too. The moment i set foot inside to see that i turned tail and ran.
  22. How does anyone feel about putting effort into their work? I ask because very recently iv'e come to see just how happy i am with the fruits of my labor. Some people ask me why bother so much, why put effort into everything i do. But i don't feel that way, I find that i enjoy the raw satisfaction of putting a 100% into something (be it studying, work, or your personal life) and see your efforts rewarded. It's something trivial and yet I felt it was worth sharing. What do you guys think? Do you like putting work into the things you do, or do you feel like lazing out here and there?
  23. Somewhat. My life are finally taking a turn for the better. After a while of stagnation, I am finally moving forward. Money is hard to come by, but when isn't it? I just gnash my teeth and do my best.
  24. No. There are a few reasons for that, but in the end, I dislike the idea of having another me. There can be only one.
