Crossovers are dangerous, especially with 'VS' in the title

 

Put that there and you expect conflict between the two parties, so if you put that in your title, you need to have the two parties fight, and effectively as well

 

Make sure you get the two groups to have equal screentime and proper interaction with one another

 

Combining TTGO (which I like to think of as a parody of the original show, since it's undoubtedly superior) and the PPG reboot (which is more or less pandering to Tumblr-class feminists) is not a good idea imho

As for Twilight's meanness, that's a good point, but then again, that's where her character development starts. If she were all gung ho about friendship from the beginning, then she wouldn't have a chance to grow.
