It will get better. Drink lots of water and avoid sugar, meat, dairy and grains. Eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables (not canned) and have your mom find something called "aloe vera juice". It's a concentrated alkaline (the opposite of an acid). The flu thrives in very acidic environments like your body, but alkaline foods and juices lower your body's PH so your blood itself becomes toxic to germs.
