She's not so much on the other side of the planet, as she is just always busy... She's from the Philippines and I'm from Australia, so there's only a three hour difference between timezones (that is, with DST, without its only two hours, IIRC, the Philippines doesn't observe DST tho, time is complicated)

Also, I decided to recreate a playlist on Spotify of songs that remind me of her

I had a similar thing going on, and that sounds like a nice way to do generate a positive thing to make this a bit easier :3 

Yeah, earlier on in the year, I did create the same playlist but kept deleting it, though, this time, I think I'm going to keep it, and possibly share it with her if she comes back (if I remember correctly, the Spotify web player allows you to listen to any shared album, song or playlist without signing up)
