    The way I see it, you shouldn't even need to press the notification bell to receive notifications about when a YouTuber you watch posts a new video, it should just be click the subscribe button, and you get notifications when a new video arrives, but NOPE, we must have that stupid bell...

      Nah I disagree. I wouldn’t want notifications. I prefer just to look at my subscription tab to see what came out during the day.

      Of course an option to opt out of notifications would be just as good if it was the case.

      I care about some subscriptions more than others. Some I may want to know about right away, but I don't want a notification every time one of the many channels I'm subscribed to uploads.

      I'd have to agree with others here. Some of the channels I'm subscribed to upload daily or a have some other regular schedule. Whereas others that I really like or don't upload often I'd like to have notifications for.

      So for the regulars I'll just look at my feed, and the others I'll see the notifications.
