tfw a completely normal game feature somehow crashes a video game to the point where you have to redo everything from your last save.

Hasn't happened to me yet, but, it happened (in a way that felt creepy I might add*), at some point in this video:
*Due to the fact that I expect most modern technology to work 99% of the time, I kinda find any instance where there are unproductive glitches and/or crashes to be kinda scary, regardless of how friendly tech companies attempt to make error messages look.
