That's great to hear – getting into something new is always so fascinating. And while that enjoyment can last for years (or possibly even decades?), the peak days are really something!

And yeah, that really depends on how you define "gamer". I've never really been one in the strictest sense either – it was never really a lifestyle or anything for me. I wasn't even that good at games, I just liked playing them.

The main reason why I like playing games is because it's a fun way to spend time with friends! Sure it's nice to just have conversations, but getting to share experiences together is even better  

@SparklingSwirls Even while I do enjoy plenty of single player games, mainly because I'm interested in the lore and often want to pretend to be a character in a world that is not our own as a form of escapism, multiplayer games are definitely a lot of fun!

It's of the reasons I admittedly wish more people here owned a Switch and Splatoon 2, though any other multiplayer game would also be good to play with people here.

Besides, I have been wanting more local multiplayer games for my Switch that I can play with my family, friends when I invite them over, girlfriend, etc... Good thing local multiplayer is a strength of Nintendo, though I do still wish they'd improve on their online, especially after that Mario Kart 7 incident with our 3DS'.
