    There we go, I THINK I've managed to successfully rip this movie now. Let's hope I don't jinx it.

    I've got a lot of movies I want to transfer to a digital copy, since I plan on buying a possibly 8TB hard disk for all my movies, music and pictures...

    Darn it! Misclicked the little progress bar on VLC while it was ripping the movie and now I think I've messed up the audio and may have lost a large portion of the film...

    Third time lucky, right?

    Hoping this last attempt to rip my copy of the MLP movie to a digital copy will work out successfully. Decided to try it in VLC this time instead of HandBrake.

      Yep. One problem I had was that, with HandBrake, after the ripping finished, I quickly found out the video was highly corrupted and broken, and it turned out looking like when you try to watch digital TV in an area prone to interference or too far away from the transmitter, and there's all these glitches and artifacts that pop up, sometimes also skipped frames... So far, this hasn't happened inside of VLC, though I feel like I might instead get other casualties in an attempt to copy this...

    I'm definitely going to buy Splatoon for my Switch!

      I know that a LOT of people enjoy Splatoon and I think you're probably going to too, but I'm not the biggest fan of first/third person shooters. (I get super dizzy :lie:) First time I played Splatoon I got sick pretty bad for two whole days. :adorkable:

      Splatoon for Wii U was a very good game, I still play it nowadays, for what I heard Splatoon 2 is great game too  :) , and better than the 1st game :grin:

      I've been contemplating picking up splatoon 2 myself! ^_^ I just don't think I have it in the budget for the next couple of months :muffins: I think If I were to splurge on a big game for my switch , it'd have to me breath of the wild right now

    I want to eventually build my own PC, but this cryptocurrency mining stuff has made graphics cards way too expensive -_-

      Hoping prices go down sometime this year. I've waited my whole life so far and I'm still waiting to get a job, and now I have to worry about this too?

      You can still get pretty decent graphics cards for relatively low prices, I recently picked up the GTX 1050 Ti for 140 USD and it runs all my games at 1080p 60fps on high settings, Star Wars Battlefront II EA, Overwatch, Subnautica, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor (for some more intensive games as an example).

      Cryptocurrency mining has also pretty much always been an issue, if you are worried about it then just don't get the newest cards, there are still plenty of last gen cards that run games very well like the R9 Series for AMD and GTX 900 series for NVIDIA
