Her expression was even more stern and focussed than usual for her. Topaz did a little twirl on the ring, being sure to avoid stepping on any of the splattered blood on the ring. "Double devastation! I don't know if you guys saw all that. It happened so fast. But it looked like defiant, the Pegasus with the solo wing just stopped that fight and made a team Tsunami shishkebab! This round is over!" As the crowd broke into a frenzi of opposing cheers and boos, Topaz made her way to Arid and held a Mic to him. "Tell me, mister Blitz, you're the captain and owner of the third team to advance to the semi finals. What do you have to say to the folks at home?" Shining Armor looked away from the ring and back to Copper. "Like I said, Tricis will introduce you to them once these fights are over. Team Rokata is about to fight. They have a lot on their minds."

Topaz was fixated on the smear mark for a moment. "Yes, I suppose a ten count would be a little ridiculous..." She said. "That puts one more point on the board for team Crimos. Team Tsunami has one last chance to advance! Would the next fighter's please take your stances!?" Rail was watching the fight from his private room. Nin was in the room with him, watching over his shoulder. "A crude execution but decent technique. Maybe she's read one of my books." Said Nin. "Seeing these one's fight Team Lotus will be interesting. The other gamblers must be sweating now." Said Rail. @DwhitetheGamer Shining Armor was also watching from his room. He looked to the mercinary and said, "It seems this is the team you'll be fighting, Team Crimos."

"o-kay..." Topaz said, taking a step back. The two captains actually hadn't agreed on the engagement, but she wasn't going to dispute that. "A clean break, ponies!" Topaz announced. She walked closer to Arid to survey the damage. "Two blows and it's over! I could hear that one from across the ring! What a satisfying sound! Team Crimos gets an early lead!" She made a sweeping hoof motion to the stands with her mic tilted. "Let's keep this going! Will the next fighters please step forward!?"

He can try to find them if he wants, but Shining Armor asked him to wait with him for now. Draggo gone.

Topaz whistled and pointed at the dragon. "I haven't started the fight yet! The two captains need to agree on terms for the fight and play by the rules or I'll be forced to disqualify you and that won't be good for either of us, understand?"

Shining Armor sat down and looked at the two teams in the ring lining up. "Your teammate's don't know about you yet. I think Tricis is going to introduce you after today's matches. Your team isnt fighting today." He explained. Then he started to list the members in no particular order. "There's Rose Beast, Jade Lotus, of course, Snow Frostflame, Draco O'Malley, and Dynamo Pad."

@Unicorncob Shining Armor spoke while he walked back to his private observation room with Copper following. "We don't have a lot of time. A match is about to start and you will be one of the ponies fighting the winning team." He explained. "You're fighting as the alternate for Team Lotus. The team that I technically own, but I'm not the one who hired you. The team's trainer, Tricis Dewfall. She's the one who paid your expenses. I don't really know how she got the money, but that isn't important. She said that one of the members of team lotus wont be available for the semi-finals, but without a strong fifth member, that's you, they wont be able to survive. I don't know much more than that, but I can try to answer and questions you have." @Dynamo Pad @Snow Frostflame @dragon4111 @reader8363 Anyone from team Lotus who wasn't already at the ring would still have time to make it or could watch the fight on television. Team Crimos was lined up in the grass area beside the ring. Canteen, the Emerald Griffon, Melio, the one-winged pegasus, and Arid. "This is an interesting development, ponies!" Topaz announced, "It seems Aiden will not recover from his match in the perliminaries, and Arid will be serving as the team's alternate! This is the second time in this tournament that we're having a team owner fighting as a combatant! Let's hope it works out better for Blitz than it did for Tatterhoof!" The gates on the other side of the ring to Team Tsunami slowly opened.

The fight would also be televised for anyone near a screen to see. Topaz was in the center of the ring, Team Tsunami and team Crimos should be behind the opposite gates waiting for them to open. "Good morning everyone!" Topaz announced. "It's the final day of the second round, but we've saved the best for last! Only two more teams will advance to the semifinals and it's gonna get violent!" @DwhitetheGamer Shining armor got up from his chair after checking the time and stepped out into the arena lobby in search of Copper. He didn't have much time to get the new pony up to speed.

When she neared the staircase, she saw Rail standing next to it, "This is later than we agreed." he said. "Some of them stayed awake longer than I expected. There was nothing I could do." Rail inhaled on his cigarette, then removed it from his mouth. "How are they doing?" "Don't be coy. You've already seen them." "But you know more than I do, don't you? Some of them were very hurt today. I trust you made sure they recovered." "I'm not going to be your puppet, Rail. I'm doing this because I want to. Quit acting like I work for you." Tricis snapped. "Just keep up with the agreement." Rail replied, "I'm impressed so far. You've been an excellent coach. I just hope they'll understand why you did this. If they find out, of course." Tricis glared at Rail with a stern frown. The red unicorn puffed his cigarette again as his lips curled into a smile. "Jade. You're quite attached to her. Aren't you?" The sun came up hours later, dawning the new day. @Arid_Blitz Team Crimos was getting ready for their morning match against team Tsunami, and the seats in the stadium were already filling. @DwhitetheGamer Shining Armor was sitting in his private observation room, waiting for a newcomer to show up.

"No, that's all I needed to say." Tricis said, stepping outside the room to find that the others in the Hotel were already asleep. "You should get some rest. It might help." She said, then closed the door. "Good. You'll ruin the fun if you try to hedge your bets." Rail gestured to one of his guards, and the guard helped her stand up. "We should be going. Maybe I'll see you tomorrow." Rail and Topaz exited the bar.

@Arid_Blitz @dwithethegamer I'm giving others an opportunity to reply to some unfinished conversations, but if I don't get replies from them by tommorrow, I'll start the next day of the rp and you can start posting.

"Is that so?" Rail asked with a smile, swirling his drink in his telekinetic grip, creating faint clicking sounds as the ice tapped the glass. He looked at Topaz briefly and back to Rose. "If you're trying to learn much from her, I'm afraid you'll have to find out for yourself. Team Rokata is scheduled to fight tomorrow."

I thought he picked it up in his mouth just in case or something, and before it was in his mouth it was sheathed.

Tricis gave her diagnosis. "I can see now that my original theory is correct. Your own body is the thing doing this without your brain's knowledge. It's creating a new power in you to prepare for an upcoming danger it senses. I've seen this happen before, and the body will give you back your powers when they're needed and it's ready. My guess is that your condition will continue tomorrow, but with any luck you'll be able to use magic again for your fight in the semifinals." She looked up at Frostflame, seeing the apprehension in his eyes. "I already told you I'm not interested in finding out who you are or what you're hiding from, but I'm twice as old as the pony you're pretending to be, so give me some credit. Your aura was enough for me to know. Fiery, confident, powerful but underdeveloped, young. If you're worried about me telling someone, don't be. I'll let you in on a secret that will put your mind at ease." She took a deep breath and stood across from Frostflame, speaking in a whisper. She was still open for him to attack if he so chose. "I get it. You're alone and you want to stay that way. As someone who spent over half her life by herself, I understand why you aren't quick to trust. But you're not going to have to worry about me for long because I'm not going to be here for the finals." She sat down with her hind legs crossed and closed her eyes. "I'm telling you, and only you, because I know you're the one who's not going to tell anyone. And I know you're not going to try to stop me, and I don't expect you to ask any questions either. That's why I've been so hard on the five of you. I don't have much time before you'll all be on your own. You're a smart lad, so I expect I won't have to explain this to you. I'm not worried about you killing me right now because you're not going to be the one to do it. I'm talking about something that needs to happen. Something that I can't have the others interfere in, understand?" "Gosh you're funny." Topaz said, leaning on the table with her drink now nearly empty. Rail stood up and walked to his daughter's table. "Enjoying yourselves?" he asked. His two guards stood up behind him. The first thing Rose would notice was how tall the red unicorn was. "She's funny, dad." "I enjoyed your fight today, Rose. You wouldn't believe how stacked the odds were in the betting room. I wonder when the other gamblers will learn about how talented you are."

((I thought I replied to this this morning but the message didn't send. Sorry.)) "Sadistic." Topaz answered. "I have 'sadistic personality disorder.'" She added with air quotes. "Can you believe that? As if its even a problem. Theyve even got me taking pills but I dont usually take them. Don't tell daddy!" She added playfully.

Tricis nearly chuckled at what Frostflame said. If only he knew, he wouldnt have bothered threatening her. "I've only ever heard of Frostflame. But what I do know about is the elderly and you're not too good at passing yourself off." Tricis narrowed her eyes as she observed Frostflames aura. It was swirling, but she couldn't see what locked it. "If you want to take advice from me, you need to act less angsty and more jaded. And yes, there is a difference." She let go of Frostflames leg and pressed her hoof to his. There was a faint glow as she attempted to correct what was wrong with him. "You're gonna have a hard time explaining what you did today."
