    Overrated is kind of a garbage term regardless of context. It's such a lazy criticism regardless of whether or not you've tried something. You could put some actual thought and detail in to why you don't like something or you could just lazily write it off as "overrated", which is essentially "people need to stop liking things that I don't like" Good holy and almighty lord above. "THOSE DAMN MILLENNIALS HAVE IT WAY TOO EASY BACK IN MY DAY---" Back in your day women couldn't vote and black people had no rights so you can kindly shut the fuck up, Harold.

    Your identity is everything that defines you. Everything. People treat you differently based on every one of those so called 'fraudulent' details so people assign meaning to those things for a reason. People WILL me differently from a man since I'm a woman, just like people will treat a muslim differently from a christian and a black person differently from a white person. Everyone does it, even on a subconscious level, so no, they're not just meaningless details meant to strip you of your actual character the second you start identifying with them.

    I think most of what's traditionally considered masculine or feminine is pretty much obsolete now. Video games and superhero movies aren't for boys anymore, pretty much EVERYONE enjoys them.

      It really, honestly can be. I've noticed just about every time a topic on transgender people pops up the response is usually the same, comes from the same people, and it's usually negative. Worst part is apparently transphobia is just a meaningless buzzword to them when actuality that's exactly what their negative opinions based on lofty generalizations and misconceptions are.

    Short answer is yes, long answer is that I need to do some spiritual self-searching to find the long answer. It makes the most sense to me that my afterlife is literally just another life, but I can't see myself really belonging in any of the religious/spiritual groups that take it up as a core belief. Most notably Buddhism.

    Oh yeah I think I commented a while ago something like, "having rigid standards isn't part of a healthy relationship" and then I realized my relationship wouldn't work out if my boyfriend wasn't open minded and willing to try a hard BDSM lifestyle with me. There has to be some chemistry and those standards exist subconsciously anyway.

    Super Metroid is definitely one of my overall favorite platforming games, considering it's the quintessential metroidvania and Metroidvanias are some of the only platformers out there that I genuinely enjoy.

    No kidding, it's actually been 10 years since we got a good metroid game and i was starting to lose my patience, considering it's my favorite nintendo series and all here's hoping MP4 is just as good, if not better

    If we're counting DLC, The Ringed City is an absolute god tier TLC. The +3 rings, the armor sets and weapons, the amazing level/enemy/boss design and the lore significance. This is what DLC done right looks like. As far as actual games go though, Nintendo objectively has the strongest lineup this year with BotW, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odyssey, and Metroid 2. My absolute favorite overall release this year is NieR: Automata, by far.
