Lunar Glow

I would say that both lack strong personalities and character, but Sunset Shimmer ranks a little higher in my books for me. Of course, I simply don't like Starlight Glimmer, so I might be a little biased.

I feel like they befriended her simply because of their natural forgiving nature; they always try and give antagonists a chance to be good and do good. A real friend is what Starlight needed to reform, so that's what they did. While I might be a little biased for thinking this, as I am not at all a fan of Starlight, I feel that the friendship was forced and they her and the other Mane 6 don't have that much chemistry. It seems the ponies only did it for moral purposes only instead of pure liking. The ponies befriended her not because they genuinely felt a connection, but because it was just the right thing to do. Of course, this is just how I see it.

To me she doesn't seem to have that much of a personality or talent other than being a baby. (In the literal sense and metaphorical sense.) I'm defiantly on board with her being some sort of dark or evil element, but that might just stem from my hatred of this...unpleasant princess. But I honestly feel like she isn't going to have enough character or personality to have any real significance in the show, element or otherwise.

I feel like the writers are trying to portray her as a genius, but unfortunately she just doesn't have basic common sense or good intentions to be one. I'd say that her power is just massively uncontrollable, giving the illusion that she has a lot of it even though she simply can't work with it.

Twilight Sparkle is my absolute favorite and I of course wouldn’t want this for her, but I feel like if any of the Mane 6 were to go bad, it’d be her. This, of course, is not at all based on personality and more what the writers would probably pick, seeing as she is the main character. I couldn’t see the logic behind picking on an almost random pony other than Twilight. The least likely? Applejack, certainly. She is 100% wholesome and pure. I can’t see her going full-fledged evil...she’d have too much work on the farm the devote time to being evil!

I laughed out loud at this one.

I mean, it depends on how appropriately used the violence, swearing and sex jokes are. As a person who has watched TV-MA shows and genuinely liked them, they tend to use their label wisely. As long as this adult MLP show isn’t needlessly over the top just to prove that “Ooo! MLP being edgy” isn’t the plot. The only reason any show should be TV-MA is because these themes occur frequently, not because the whole show’s existence depends on it. As long as that wasn’t abused, I can see myself enjoying it. That being said, I don’t know how’d I would feel if it was a replacement to MLP, mainly because the reason I watch MLP is specifically to get away to a sweet, soft world where all the adult problems can’t exist. I think if I had to choose between MLP and Adult MLP, I would most certainly pick the former.

I don’t believe I understand. The Human universe is actually ponies? I believe it to be impossible because of how much development has been made in the FiM series with the ponies. Also, why would the writers of the show just make things harder on themselves making a plot like this?
