I thought it was pretty bad. It was just sooo cheesy!

Yeah. I didn’t care for it either. The songs were forgettable and villain was horrible. The less we say about Flash Sentry, the better.   

Rainbow Rocks has much better music, the villains are good, and the character of Sunset Shimmer is fleshed out. She has a good story arc through the special. If you watch it, watch through the end credits. There is a stinger on the end that leads to the next special. 

Sounds interesting.
