I'm really sorry, I wasn't trying to imply that you're a "lesser" fan than me, I was just trying to say that it's silly to think I'm NOT a Pokemon fan just because I don't care about the lack of a National Dex. If you don't like Sword and Shield, that's fine. The reason I made this post was because I was annoyed about how most gamers are just so picky and negative towards most games out on the market nowadays. It just makes me feel like if I tackled game development, people would hate my games no matter WHAT. If you don't think Sword and Shield is worth it, that's fine. Again, I'm sorry if I seemed rude or condescending. One of my biggest weaknesses is that I'm not very good at getting my messages or points across...

You aren’t understanding. I don’t actually think that. I was being a smart@$$.

I said that to mess with you, since you were saying that I don’t like Pokémon as much as you because I didn’t like Game Freak’s decisions. It was deliberately ridiculous, because your idea that I didn’t care about Pokémon as much as you was also ridiculous.

So to summarize: Not being worried about the reduced Dex doesn’t make you a bad fan, and not liking Game Freak’s decisions doesn’t make me a bad fan.

Well you WILL have some people that are just never pleased, but that’s their problem. If you make a good game, listen to constructive criticism, and don’t try to swindle your customers like so many game companies try to do, then people will love you.
