I honestly think game developers should just stop making games, because if gamers are just going to label a game as shit no matter what, then these whiny, ungrateful pieces of shit don't deserve new games.

@Alastor I can kinda get that... if it was only a few people, then this wouldn't be such a big deal, but it just feels like EVERY gamer just HATES video games! I understand it's only my anecdotal evidence, but come on, man...
As for day one DLC and microtransactions being required to enjoy the game... that's honestly understandable. I DO have a problem if microtransactions are required to enjoy a game or if a game has day one DLC... but in my opinion, I don't think they were required to enjoy the game in BF2's case, but that's just me.
As for you not encountering anyone who hated the games I listed, they're out there, I promise... otherwise I wouldn't be ranting about them. On the subject of Fallout 76, I understand that there were videos of glitches and stuff, but SURELY there were SOME people who's games worked fine! What are the odds of ME getting the ONLY functional copy of Fallout 76, especially a digital one?
And finally, I'll gladly point to the criticisms of all the games I listed... but not tonight, because I need to rest... and I'm upset...
But to summarize, the problem isn't differing opinions. The problem is that it seems like if I made a game, gamers would just hate and revile it no matter what I do...

Usually, where I get my feeling for a general mood of a game is in public review of games on steam or in other areas where an overall view of the audience can be represented. Often, you might see some Youtuber rant on a game, but when you check the like/dislike ratio on said game, you might be surprised how many disagree with said Youtuber.
I don't know man, the videos exist. Glitches don't happen to everyone at every time. When I started playing Assassin's Creed Unity, I did not experience the glitches and bugs that many people pointed out, but there was still video evidence that suggested that they were there and it happened to some people. I was just fortunate that it did not happen to me, so I got good experience.
And well, I tend to focus a lot on the good reviews. I have a workmate who loves Cuphead and he even plays the music from the game for us while we work He has only very nice things to say about the game. So keep in mind, the good reviews are out there as well
And if you make a game, understand this. Perhaps you make a mistake, perhaps people will point that out to you. Perhaps you can learn from it, so you can make even better games. But you will also have those who will see what you are doing and appreciate it and even show you that they love your game and try to cheer you on to make even more. Don't let naysayers keep you down, never do that, even if they may seem endless~

Ugh, I’m back. Felt bad for losing my patience. Sorry about that.
Still don’t want to chat about this topic anymore, but I sincerely hope you have a beautiful glorious day tomorrow @AveryGamerDude, and that every other day is just as good.
Don't worry about what other people think. Just keep enjoying your games. See you around.
