I wish my family wouldn't fight all the time. It makes me so sad...

@AveryGamerDude Sometimes when family isn't enough, turn to your friends!
I'll give you some brohoofs to show my support

I just don't understand why my mom doesn't trust me because of things that aren't my fault, but she thinks I'm probably lying, even though she's lied to me today. Twice. I also don't understand why she wants me to get out of the house, even though she won't let me leave.

I remember I saw you say that you really liked Joker, and I did, too. How much did you like it? Would you say it's one of the best movies you've ever seen?

My grandma gave me 25 dollars and 2 10 dollar gift cards for McDonalds for Christmas.

Wow. I only live a few hours away from the border of Texas. ._.

Well, its sheer population size makes it far more likely for me to encounter someone dangerous there than my home state for one, and (Although a lot will say that this really doesn't matter) it's the state with the most capital punishment, so that adds extra risk. (Not saying I'd ever do anything that would warrant capital punishment, for the record.)

I know I'm supposed to try and avoid negative posts, but it's just seriously annoying that my mom complains about having to clean, even though I offered to help, and she just told me to "leave her alone".

-
Again, I apologize for the negative posts, everyone. After all, today's supposed to be the one day where everyone is happy, so I'll say something positive. For Christmas, my mom got me a couple of shirts, a coat, new shoes, and an IOU for a 20 dollar Steam gift card.
I'm actually pretty glad, because I needed new shirts, and I asked for a Steam gift card, but she hasn't gotten me one yet. (Though she will.) Anyway, my family's going to my grandmother's house for Christmas in a few hours and I LOVE my grandmother's house!
Either way, happy holidays, everyone!

On this day, one man was born who by age 30 would change the world for the better. Happy birthday Sir Isaac Newton! Born December 25th, 1642.

I seriously love it when the rules only apply to me, and most or all of them don't apply to anyone else. (Don't worry, I'm not talking about MLP forums.)

Good lord, just because I ran out of energy while cleaning for my mom and took a short rest break, my mom has gone utterly psycho, and is flinging stuff, yelling, and cursing at me. I offered to help her, but she refused. I just wish my mom wasn't always in such a bad mood...
-
My mom's probably gonna get me a 50 dollar Steam gift card for me for Christmas, but hey, fine with me. Then I can finally get the VR Workshop and Tesla Cannon CC Items for FO4.

I want to talk about how I really feel, but I can't, because it's against the rules...

@PiratePony I would, but I have talked with a couple of professionals for a while... and none of it worked... And I doubt it ever will.

@Splashee Well... that's hard to say. In terms of how my quality of life is right now, I'd say it's gotten WAY better. But in terms of how safe and secure I feel, it's gotten worse. Way worse.

A lot of people say that I'm paranoid. Assuming I am, it's not like there's anything I can do about it, because I'm pretty sure that the effects are permanent. (Like my depression...)

There are some places in the US that are so dangerous that I would never visit them in my life... even if you paid me billions of dollars.

According to what I’ve read, it is. But even if it wasn’t, even if a different city had the highest rate, the never-visiting-because-AIDS thing would STILL be dumb.
Going to be straight with you, Avery. You’re paranoid to an unhealthy degree and you need to talk to someone professional about it. Healthy people are not constantly frightened and worried.

You're afraid that someone will accuse you of murder, and somehow will have enough physical evidence and eyewitnesses to convince the state to prosecute, a judge to let it go through discovery without dismissal, jury selection, trial, verdict, sentencing, appeals, and the years before execution? Enough to fret about your quality of life and mention it here?
You're more likely to be murdered where you stand than for that to happen.
-
@PiratePony I never said there wouldn't be a trial, but that trial would be pretty fast and unfair, considering that the past has easily proven that you don't need much, or any, evidence to convince a jury of guilt.

Even though I personally don't think that any of the Fallout games are "greatest games of all time" material... Fallout is still one of my favorite franchises and I seriously think the lore for it is EXTREMELY fascinating.

I think I'd rather take my chances jumping into a pit of lava than take my chances living in the US...

Wow, Prager U complimented the left in their "Just say Merry Christmas" video. I mean, sure, it was unintentional, but still. Thank you, Prager U, for pointing out that the left supports secularism.

I bet Trump had something to do with this, yet so many gamers continue to defend that piece of FILTH.

@PiratePony I never said that's what would happen... But, what I will say is that mass shootings have went down since the early 90's, which is ironically around the same time video games became more graphically violent.
https://www.ucrdatatool.gov/Search/Crime/State/RunCrimeTrendsInOneVar.cfm
Also, if violent crimes had anything to do with video games, I'd fail to see how this (what my seem like coincidence) would stack up so well with the hard data on violent crime. Also, there's plenty of evidence to suggest that violent video games actually decrease violent tendencies, serving as an outlet instead of a precursor.
As for what effect putting a tax would have, it may disincentivize people from buying said video games, therefore making there be less of an outlet for violent tendencies. Though if this did have an effect, it would be hardly noticeable.

Yeah, I knew it. America isn't a real country...

I'm enthusiastic to write my HiE fanfic... but I'm afraid it might be too animeish... if that makes sense.
