Depression is so fun.

@Snow it's sarcasm

I might sound like a bad person for saying this, but I think some of Encyclopedia Dramatica's descriptions of West Virginia are pretty damn spot on. Hell, I don't think they're harsh enough.
-
I have dreams, but I'll never be able to achieve them. Not in this political climate.
-
I'm not gonna lie. If I made a movie, it would probably be the biggest box office flop in film history.

@PiratePony Trust me man nobody's gonna buy Blu-rays of it either.

I really miss having a right to freedom of speech...
-
Wait, the people of this nation already lost that right in 1798... We have John Adams to thank for that.

I honestly have a huge amount of respect for anyone who is an atheist (unless you're far right) and/or has left wing views in places like Texas and West Virginia. It cant be pleasant living there in those cases. I wouldn't touch those areas with a 29 1/2 foot pole.

Honestly, after that bullcrap abortion bill got passed in Alabama, (Though honestly, who's surprised?) I think this is the time where people like me need to start taking a stand and letting these pro-lifers know that our basic human rights are more important than their religion! Always! 10 times out of 10! Their religious beliefs are their religious beliefs, and they are free to abide by them, but no one else has to abide by their religions rules! Like: "You're not allowed to get an abortion!" No! You're not allowed to get an abortion! I'm not Christian, so I can do whatever the hell I want!
-
George Carlin put it best when he said "Pro-Lifers" are really "Pro-fetus". Once the child is born, they don't care anymore, especially in Alabama where they are 49th in infant mortality, refuses to fund support programs for the many impoverished families, and performs the most Death Penalties yearly than any other state. Their latest execution was a falsely accused teenager with mental disabilities who had a crap state appointed lawyer.

@PoisonClaw Couldn't have said it better myself.

I honestly might as well be dead. I'm just gonna be living with my mom for the rest of my life. </3
-
Guys, be honest. Would you watch a movie that was made by someone you think is a terrorist?

-
I honestly wanna move to a different country. America is too dangerous.

-
Honestly I would do a series of videos asking people to "change my mind" on particular issues, but then I realized I'm not a narcissist. I will do one, though.

-
I would honestly KILL to have an abortion debate with Steven Crowder. I bet a thousand dollars that I would utterly THRASH him. Not to sound cocky...

-
I would do a rant about how much I DESPISE the atheist community nowadays, but that rant would probably be too similar to my "nuke the middle east" rant.

-
God... it really saddens me that most of my fellow atheists (At least on the internet) believed in climate change. Remember when the atheist community wasn't despicable? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Climate Change is real. Just search for university research about it. There are DOZENS of studies that back up the fact that the world's climate system is warming. Humans are the reason why it's changing too, with the pumping out of significant amounts of Anthropogenic Carbon Dioxide. Just go read some of the research, because climate change is going to continue to happen as long as we continue to pump CO2 into our atmosphere.

Atheist or not, my impression is that most (?) people* accept that humans have an impact on their environment (air quality maps show that quite well.) The warming effect seems to be contentious despite having strong scientific backing - and I do wonder if the Financial Crisis had something to do with that. I remember that there was quite a strong building of the climate movement in the early to mid 2000s, but after the Crisis the economy and austerity became more prominent topics. Still, I think there is a swing back towards the environment as a prominent concern as the consequences of inaction are starting to show (Blue Planet 2's final episode drew a lot of attention to plastic pollution.)
*yes, yes, social bubble and so on.
Oh, actually, some UK figures. No time series, unfortunately, but tangentially interesting as a point in time piece.

As someone who has lived in the south almost my entire life, I can tell you first hand that southern hospitality is a myth.

@Fluttertastic 16It really depends where you are, but regardless the weather stinks. Here, just f*** summer. It's insanely hot.
-
-
@Dustlicious :P Yeah. I would honestly pick Texas over almost any other southern state... Not saying Texas is nice, though.
-
When it comes to the far left and the far right, I take no sides.
-
Honestly, the way most of my fellow atheists have been behaving on the internet is making me VERY ashamed to be an atheist.

-
I seriously wish there was somewhere that I could create my own YouTube comments because I wanna make a theoretical list of hate comments I would get if I made a YouTube video that portrays conservatives in a VERY unflattering way.
