  1. Maybe to be more accepting of changes. I feel like Mr. Enter does a good job doing that. And not to crave more dark, serious episodes to much because it's not the main tone of the show. I feel there's a good amount of dark, epic, serious moments as it is.
  2. One thing I would change is to be more accepting of show changes such as Twilicorn or her castle. I feel Mr. Enter does a good job of accepting changes. And also I would like people to stop craving for more dark serious episodes all the time because that's not the main tone of this show plus I feel like there's a good amount of dark serious moments as it is.
  3. I already made a Top 10 list so here it is: https://mlpforums.com/blog/2076/entry-16871-my-top-10-favorite-pok%C3%A9mon/
  4. I can't decide. All of them are equally great! But if I were to choose between a few it would be Vaporeon, Espeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon.
  5. I don't know any, I feel they are just scattered around. However I wouldn't move to a certain city just because there are a lot of bronies. I would move to a city based on what the conditions feel like and how you like to live there in general.
  6. My typical expectations since I first saw this show: A mostly light-hearted cartoon with cute characters, solid morals, stories that are good enough to deliver the message, usually a relaxing tone, and some dark serious moments occasionally. And like most shows a lot of good episodes and some duds. Are these good enough expectations and should I just keep them?
  7. I just like to tell about my typical expectations from MLP:FiM since I first watched it last year. For the most part light-hearted relaxing cartoon featuring cute characters, good morals, stories that deliver the morals, sometimes interesting adventures and some dark, serious moments on occasion. And a lot of good episodes and some dud episodes such as Dragon Quest. Are these good enough expectations and should I keep them?
  8. You should check out Watchcartoononline. It works well for me and they have a wide variety of both western cartoons and anime.
  9. Then should I expect the same level of quality in shows like Spongebob and Family Guy all the time?
  10. This forum seems really active today.

  11. I'm not even going to make an Oliver blog, since I'm facing a similar issue and there's a ton already.

  12. So I should keep my expectations the same as when I first started watching? When I first started my typical expectations were mostly a light hearted show with life lessons and some dark more serious moments every so often. And some good episodes and bad episodes like most shows. Should I just keep those expectations?
  13. One thing I would change is to lower expectations for stories that are darker, and more serious and mostly expect more light hearted stories that don't need to be really deep but just good enough to deliver a moral. By the way Tommy Oliver seems to have a similar situation I'm having though not as abrasive.
  14. I'd like to make a disclaimer on that blog entry I did. What I meant by the stories didn't have to be the greatest to be good, I meant this show doesn't always have to rely on dark, epic, deep, serious storytelling. Just for the most part a lighthearted story good enough to implement a message. I'll admit there are a few episodes I thought were bad like Putting Your Hoof Down or Dragon Quest. There are some plots that really confused me such as Crystal Empire but It was still good and I appreciate the moral.
  15. I never watched him but he sounds like an asshole. I feel like this show still has the same level of quality, alot of good episodes with some duds. I don't expect dark, epic, deep, serious stories from this show. Just a light hearted show with stories good enough to implement a message.
  16. What I meant to say about the storytelling was that they don't need to be all dark, epic, serious, or deep. I kind of said that incorrectly. I think it's only because I've seen a lot worse writing in shows like Spongebob and Family Guy. I just expect more light relaxing tones from this show and stories that are just good enough to deliver a message. And about Rainbow Falls, I just didn't see what was so bad about it. I thought it was meh but I've seen worse episodes like Dragon Quest. I'm probably going to get more involved in other cartoons like Gravity Falls and I just got back into Regular Show.
  17. Kind of. I like the show because of the relaxing innocent tone to it. Though I don't like how the show is analyzed so much. There are other shows I watch too. But this one is special because it has some good life lessons, while there are a few stories that don't execute them very well, most of them do. I also really like the songs. I don't watch it for the story because I can watch other shows such as Gravity Falls or Regular Show for a deeper story. But still it reminds me of childhood shows on PBS Kids, Disney, and Nick Jr. I feel I would enjoy this show more if I started watching it when I was around 5 years old. I have aspergers syndrome and it helped my social skills as a late teen. There are some aspects of this fandom I dislike but I enjoy art. And I actually do think Twilicorn is a good idea and I feel Twilicorn would grow on more with this fandom as time goes on.
  18. Now I feel like there are several members in this community who are expecting too much out of FiM. What I mean by that is that there are are people who are expecting tons of episodes with more dark, epic, more serious feels to them. But I feel for the most part this is a slice of life show with some good messages that's less stressful than other shows with some few Disney style moments on occasion. I feel like most of the plots revolve around the situation of the message they are trying to tell. I feel that if we like this show it should just be enjoyed for what is and not for what it can be. There are shows like Gravity Falls which has dark and often more deep, epic, serious stories if that's what you're into. So are we expecting too much?
